We have a chairman who has pumped millions into the club and is a Derby fan,yes he has made some mistakes but cut him some slack or would you sooner have the American's or the Amigo's back?

Would definitely take the Americans back. We had a few years of **** with them but there was no doubt we were on an upward trojectory with them.

Always having the club at heart doesn't mean he is doing a good job.  I am sure if you compare the status of the club the day before he took over and the status of the club yesterday (because I think criticism of him stacks up irrelevant of whatever has happened today) it would be a difficult to make the argument that we are in a stronger position.

I truly believe he wants the best for the club.  I truly believe that he has done everything believing it was for the best.  I truly believe we'd be better off if he'd never become chairman.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

Everything Mel has touched or decided on at Derby has turned to ****.

BBC Radio Derby's Owen Bradley

"It is my understanding that Pearson has been suspended pending a club investigation into his behaviour.

"What exactly that behaviour is we are not sure - but I would be amazed if he manages Derby County again.

"I was with Derby's owner and chairman Morris on Friday when he told me here emphatically that Pearson was the man for the job and he told me repeatedly that he would be given time to change things at Derby.

"He made it clear Pearson was his man.

"The situation has changed very quickly indeed over the weekend. It appears something drastic has happened over the past 48 hours or so.

Looks to me it is a disciplinary decision more than anything else, as I alluded to earlier, something that required immediate action as opposed to something to look at in the cold light of day.

Hopefully we'll know more in the coming days.

By any chance did you work for Candy Crush and get sacked by our Mel?

I'm correct in what I say.

Mel bought a stake in the club at the playoff final which was where we peaked.

Since then, we've been heading downward and every decision he makes pushes us further down.

Billy Davies and Paul Jewell did, followed by what I consider the bright patch of Clough, but others seem to have a different opinion.

There are a lot more people with that opinion than you might think. It's just that they get ridiculed so much by the 'experts' that they tend to keep quiet.
