I think at this point we've got to be looking for the goals to get us to the Prem rather than worrying about how we stay there...

I don't think you can buy Prem ready players until promotion is nailed on. We can't afford them, and they are unlikely to sign as we are further from the Prem than the last few years. You hope that you buy potential, but how many of Villa's or Newcastles's many signings are good enough for the Prem, I suspect not too many. Mick Harford
I feel that I can confidently say that none of our current strikers would cut it in the Prem either, at least CM used to score in this division.

You do realise that missing the pen was the worst thing he could have done if he was trying to helping us- a draw was what was required last night not a Reading win. As regards the Fulham forum in meltdown, that forum is no different to ours after the Leeds/Norwich games. Irrational thoughts and a mass panic...... Martin and missed penalties is nothing new, I am just surprised Fulham didn't do their home work before they got Martin. Here we go.......told you so,lol!!???? Harsh to criticise yourself Do you think the comments on here were real or maybe tongue in cheek? Agree with the meltdown part. Martin probably has missed as many as he scored for us, I don't know for a fact but maybe you could enlighten me.
mrdave85
His record from the spot has to be poor, right? I can't remember the last one he scored.

They should have done their home work................ Obviously your maths skills are as good as your fact making skills. I will do it for you, not that you will pay any attention. He has taken 17 penalties for us, scored 11 and missed 6. So to work out the percentage of missed penalties it is 6 divided by 17, then you times that by 100, this give you your answer. 6 / 17 = 0.352 0.352 x 100 = 35.2% Answer Chris Martin has missed 35.2% of penalties for us. Throughout his career he has missed 34.8% of penalties.
