They absolutely could have avoided this situation and 'won'. 
They could, for example, have got involved 12 months ago (Parry's timeline) with the Gibson/Couhig situation.  It might have avoided the Chairman having to say that he knew nothing about the case 12 months later. If that's true Parry ought to resign on those grounds alone. They might just have agreed with our administrators that only joint statements would be consistently issued.  They might have sufficient internal control of their systems that they didn't trot off to friendly journalists with the latest news every 5 minutes. They might have avoided being so disappointed with the results of their own disciplinary procedues once it reported.  They might just have had in place the policies and procedures to deal with our sort of case more promptly - like in the season it happened, or even the one after. They might just have been less in thrall to one Chairman/owner.
And so the list goes on.
They deserve every bit of chastising and distrust they get from now until the day when they're all kicked out and we get some proper, talented people running our bit of the game. I'm not holding my breath.  Charlatans the lot of them.

Just sent this to Rick Parry. I'm still yet to receive a reply to my previous email, just needed to vent my frustration. This isn't acceptable, you can't run football like this.

I have no problem with the song.  Putting it on social media was pretty stupid from a PR perspective, but not 'kicking a cat' stupid.
Surely everybody has a 'gonna have a party' list of people.  I certainly have.  Probably not an actual party (I have no friends), but I'll be secretly happy that karma/God/the grim reaper has finally intervened.  Next doors dog died recently, and while I expressed sorrow to my neighbour, that was not what I was actually feeling.

I've delved into the EFL regulations and found this,
EFL rule 247 4.2 subsection XI states, and I quote, I, Rick Parry, will not lift any embargo pertaining to Derby County Dirty Filthy Sheepshaggers who embarrassed me somewhat by being found not guilty of dodgy deals, until they are destroyed by fire or at least relegated as agreed under the Gibson-Parry protocol of 2021 insofar and insomuch until they are competing in the Etwall and District Sunday league Division Two under a strict guarantee that no DCFC fan can ever resort to calling us shortarsed permed w anchors with built up heels, ever.
