Probably because a) there is a tendency to overreact on forums like this especially after a defeat and b) DC speaks directly to PW on a regular basis I would imagine. Their conversation will no doubt include things PW doesn't want to or can't share with the media and therefore we're not aware of. We can only speculate as to what they discuss, how they feel about the current position and how/when we're likely to get out of it.

You've made it clear in pretty much every thread, on mulitple occasions that you want him gone no matter what, do you think that there is anyone left on the forum that is unaware of your thoughts on it?
I'm just not sure why you think everyone wants you to repeat it over and over again?

The conversation for me now has turned rapidly into is DC willing to give Warne more time and why hasn't he already pulled the trigger if matters are that bad?
And what he will do differently with recruiting the next manager that he didn't manage to do with Warne?
All of which are question marks against DC as the owner not PW as manager.

Yes its not a happy fan base but better people to vent on here than keep bottled up. 

We keep coming back to the same point because it seems to be the main point for what now seems like many on here. I have deliberately not looked at the forum as much while we have had no matches for the reasons you mention. As you say if we cant afford to sack him and his team, it will be a long drawn out miserable period for fans

The last sentence makes your stance completely clear, its personal, and there is nothing he can do to change your view.

To a point perhaps but with the added issue of the new TV deal next season if season ticket renewals are affected by PW still being in place at some point the finances of keeping him will be worse

Folk don't KNOW what we can/can't afford but, when there's a business plan in place to which we have to adhere and the club was saying we can't afford transfer fees, it does seem to indicate that there's not much wriggle room in the budget. Not much wriggle room in what we may spend according to the business plan. What would paying PW and his staff off cost? We fans have no idea but if we guess at 20K a week for PW, 15K each for Barker and Hammy and 10K for Warrington, the keeper's coach, that's 60K a week which comes to £3.12M a year. Two and a half years left so 3,12 * 2.5 and you have £7.8M. Now, as I've said, I'm only guessing but even if their wages are only half the figures I've used, you're talking the best part of £4M to get rid. Even if we do have that kind of  money floating around, would we be allowed to spend it under the business plan? Again we don't know but it's not a daft thought that we probably can't spend that amount on compo for PW et al.

That is such a bizarre take, and trying to play it off as 'I'm grateful...but' is the first step in rewriting history. 
We have NO idea what would have happened but we do know nobody was biting our hands off to take on this particular thankless task.
He then appointed a manager with 3 promotions and has backed him. 
You are anti-Warne, I get it...but there is only a small step or two before Clowes starts getting huge criticism if he doesn't sack him and that would sit massively uncomfortably with me.

Horrible to see Hourihane take the brunt of the frustrations, hopefully he knows it isn’t personally aimed at him. 

Was at the game , big shout out for Conor for coming over to a toxic away end and trying to explain his frustrations , same again some shameful behaviour by some of our so called fans, don’t get me wrong it was not a good performance and the ref was a clown  but some of the abuse aimed at most of the players and manager was way over the top

Credit Hourihane for having some bottle. He epitomises the bits and pieces squad we have. Some relatively good athletes who are not good on the ball (Smith, Fornah etc) and some good players who aren’t athletic enough (Hourihane, Bird, Thompson). And too many that are neither (Cashin, Collins, Waghorn). The squad is nowhere near as good as some folks think, and the academy delivers what exactly ? I would argue no more than other L1 clubs. With a limited budget that is a tough job for anyone, but I’d still expect more than Warne can conjure.
It’s ready made for someone who can squeeze something out of nothing. We may need to make plans for Nigel.

Needs to do the decent thing and resign, before the myth about him being a promotion expert is exposed for what it is and his reputation tanks. 
There's no shame in admitting that something isn't working out, calling it a bad fit, whatever you want to say to soften the exit without losing face. 
If he leaves now he'll walk into a other mid-table League One club with ease, one better suited to his mentality and way of working, somewhere he may well even be an immediate success. It may even be at our immediate expense.
Long term though, carry on the way things are and his stubbornness will take us us all down with him.

Surely there must be clauses in his contract, depending on how well we are doing, or not doing?
