Tyler Durden reacted to PistoldPete in Derby finally accept 21 point deduction.
Well I think if there is a deal being done it means neither side knew what the outcome would be. And I never said I did. Just that we had a good case and if we didnt I don't think EFL would do a deal.

The way that's worded sounds like the administrators have done a deal to cancel the administration points appeal on the understanding that we will get a lighter sanction on the other charges.
Sounds as phoney as a glass eye and a lose lose scenario for us.

Fingers crossed, although it may be too late.

It doesn’t. It says the appeal hearing has been adjourned, and “adjourned” means postponed. However it will probably be dropped if some sort of agreement is about to be reached.

The EFL quote doesn't make sense does it?

I think it probably means we are close to agreeing an overall deal with EFL over the penalties to be applied for entering admin and for FFP combined. And so by consent we would then withdraw the appeal.. meaning the total penalty for both combined will be at least 12 points.

Prosaically Clarke looks a lot older than Jagielka even though he's 15 years younger than him.

You can buy a space on the new 1884 wall for a tenner, helping the Trust to fund the sensory room.

Nice to see the Facebook lynchmob are well and alive on this forum.
I made the point a couple of days ago that the club statement quite rightly said it was allegations at this stage and The Met police were undertaking their investigations.
But already some folk have decided guilt and punishment and branded the club accordingly.
So much for innocent until proven guilty.

Millwall as a club do as much as any, if not more, to deter racial or discriminatory behaviour. Their Community arm does some fantastic work in some of the poorest parts of London.
Until society changes and education get through to people, these incidents will continue at grounds all over the country and on social media.
The club can ID and ban those found responsible of racism or discrimination, but beyond that have little control over what is shouted or chanted by supporters once they are in the ground, other than perhaps tannoy announcements if the chants are loud enough.
If someone has shouted something at a player and it's been reported, our only hope is that it's dealt with by the police and club appropriately and other get the message.

Tyler Durden reacted to G STAR RAM in Discriminatory abuse
And therein lies the crux of the matter, some people have guessed at what has happened and appointed themselves judge, jury and executioner without any facts whatsoever.
IF any wrongdoing is found (and it is as your guess) racism, then it becomes a police matter. Doesn't the fact that Millwall have involved the police show that they are not a vile little club?

The prize for the most embarrassing thread surely must be the one started a couple of months ago entitled the fans are to blame for the club being in the current predicament.
Think that was shutdown by the mods after a couple of hours after it and the originator were subjected to widespread derision and ridicule.

The constant in all of this is the custodian of the club having a recent penchant for recruiting managers with zero Championship experience and in a lot of these cases zero managerial experience to boot - Clement, Cocu, Lampard, Rooney.
Guess his warped logic if he had any was that I recruited "experienced" managers whom failed so why not try it this way now.

The title of this thread is embarrassing. The poster who started it has disappeared. Can it be closed and consigned to the archives?

Why should it be closed?
There is still ongoing discussion.
Even if we all agreed the title is somehow embarrassing, surely it's only embarrassing for the person who actually wrote it.

Tyler Durden got a reaction from The Key Club King in Rub of the green !
The standard of officiating in the EFL is extremely variable and uneven which is probably the least divisive way of putting it.
I don't think we've been particularly subjected to more bad decisions than any other team in the division per se, it's nearly November now so putting the points deduction aside I think our "real" league position is a fair reflection of where we are as a team and manager.
