Spot on Rev.
I believe Diego's tremendous run starting the match day threads also started with a fairly innocuous draw, so onwards and upwards from here eh?
I still think that if we can get back to winning ways again, the game against Plymouth on 7th March could be a defining moment of the season.
Let's hope you're still at the helm by then.
So let's take our revenge over the South Londerners and move on.

Ipswich for me.
We're already only 2 points behind Ipswich, with a game in hand, and we've still got to play them at home.
If we win, and Ipswich win, the gap to the Windies would be down to just 5 points, and the goal difference difference (if that makes sense) would be at worst 4, possibly less.
That would really put the wind up the Windies (?), knowing that one more slip up from them and there's a chance we could pip them on the last day.
Oh, and if Pompey can do us a favour as well, happy days.
Could be a very entertaining end to the season!

Been there so many times myself.
Love the family, but working and staying away, on expenses, does have it's advantages.
I was working in Hull when we played Manure in the cup a few years back, and we beat them on penalties in a crazy game. Watched it in a pub, only Derby fan there, with the almost inevitable sprinkling of Manure fans (that had probably never been to Old Trafford) giving it large. The landlord and locals though all wanted Derby to win. That penalty shoot out was something else. The pub emptied as soon as we won, but the landlord gave me free beer for the rest of the evening.
Almost as good as being at the game.

Addingham Ram got a reaction from RadioactiveWaste in Bring them “Home”
Having seen the impact of Dobbin last night, it's heartbreaking to imagine what Festy would have done.
I'd have him back in a heartbeat and send Dobbin back. Despite loving watching Mount, Tomori and Wlson rip up the Championship the other year, I hate developing other club's players.

Hadn't thought of that, but I think my aging old man would struggle with that new fangled technology!
Thanks anyway.

Addingham Ram got a reaction from Ellafella in Paul Warne appointed as Head Coach
They certainly do, but at what cost?
Losing KB on a permanent in the transfer window wouldn't be a miss, as he's not been here all season.
Losing Knight on the other hand could be a huge loss. I know he hasn't played every game, but if he were to stay fit, there will be games in the second half of the season where having him available could be the difference between drawing and winning.
If you gave me the choice of our current playing squad, all staying fit for the rest of the campaign, or a couple of ins and a couple of outs, I'd be tempted to go with what we have.
2 or 3 good signings might still need time to integrate into a Paul Warne side, whereas the majority of the current playing staff are looking up to speed.
Steady progress this season and a shot at the play offs would be quite remarkable considering where we were only 6 months ago.

I love the fact that we there are now so experts on what has happened at Rotherham over the past few years.
Let's be honest. If we hadn't appointed PW, then we'd have mostly been pretty ignorant of how he had gone about achieving what he has achieved in League One. 3 promotions in 6 years. That's remarkable!
I bet before Derby came in for PW, you'd have struggled to find many Rotherham fans that would have had a bad word to say about him. Of course if you ask them now, they'll be glad to point out his limitations. That's fickle football fans for you. Derby fans are exactly the same.
DC has appointed arguably the most successful Leage One manager for decades, if not of all time.
So let's not pretend we are experts in the way PW wants to play. He wants to be successful, and has his own ideas as to how to achieve that.
Let's give him ample opportunity to show us what he can do.
I'd be very surprised that if he thinks the style of football needs changing, he'll change it. His record shows he knows exactly what he's doing.
Can't we just let him do it?
