Addingham Ram got a reaction from Tamworthram in Relegation rivals watch
Slightly off topic, but I've always wondered why football doesn't have the same rule for managers as they do for players, i.e. you can only change managers during the same periods that you can sign managers.
This would certainly make clubs think a bit more carefully about who they appoint as managers, and bring a bit more stability to the game.

Looking at the Championship fixtures this weekend, I'd be very surprised if we are not comfortably the biggest gate.

Out of interest, how did Watford acquire the lad from Chelsea? Did he by any chance come via their Italian reserve side ? at a very good price?

Mel's accord with Gibson:-
"We'll give you a good win tomorrow, then leave us alone and let us move on"

The great escape would be the ultimate revenge, but a win today would be a start ?

Nooooo.
The EFL would use our points after the deduction, not points before deduction, and we'd be relegated.
We'd then claim it was unfair, other clubs would threaten to sue us, and a new battle with the EFL would ensue, like a forever recurring nightmare!

Addingham Ram got a reaction from Steve How Hard? in The Administration Thread
I despise everything about Steve Gibson, and if a small settlement would do the trick, then I think any of the bidders would have swallowed it and we'd have had a new owner some time ago.
Furthermore, it would be proof that he has deliberately frustrated the whole saga to suit his own agenda.

This is my concern. Any statement issued today, other than one which moves things forward in a positive way, can only be seen as deliberately stoking up the potential for trouble, and as such bringing the game into disrepute.
Surely now is the time for someone like the MPs, or the police, to request that all parties refrain from any such action, and anyone failing to do so should be threatened with some serious consequences.
Let's just please get this game over, and out of the way.
The circus can re-open at 6pm tomorrow evening.

Don't forget about Festy. Nobody should under estimate the effect he is now having on games, both in terms of his play, and how much he lifts the fans.

I wonder if they have already secretly re-written those rules, and will pull out the updated rules, as and when it suits them ?

Addingham Ram got a reaction from Crewton in Birmingham fans damage seats at Pride Park
Talk Sport have just read out a message from a listener (Birmingham fan) who took his 10 year old to his first game at Pride Park. Said he couldn't believe the scenes, beer & drug fuelled, seats smashed and thrown, and here's the killer line - this was the behaviour of his club's own fans! What a great advert for Birmingham City eh?
So out of interest, does anybody yet know if Birmingham have paid for the damage caused?
