CBRammette reacted to Curtains in Derby County Administration (with the slight possibility of Liquidation still there)
I’m sure MM his doing his best to get the best for this Football Club.
I have spoken to him at forums and outside the ground when he has taken time to speak when he needn't have .
The guy is a human being for goodness sake
Let’s have some balance
Has anybody actually thought how this might be effecting him personally
I grew up in Littleover with Mel although I didn’t personally know him .
He has always been a Derby fan .
He has made mistakes at times but he doesn’t deserve this

Been said so often on here but we just need to park all this until after the match tomorrow and just get behind the team. How many similar threads do we need? Never really believed in EFL/daily mail conspiracy theories but the club/Mel's detractors would love us to implode when there is about 90 minutes of football tomorrow where we somehow just need to get a result. All the off the field stuff is for after. Lets hope the players are less distracted by it than us.

Says a lot about the last few years at Derby that I have no idea if you are joking or not!!!!

Thought he was brilliant today. Took up great positions, made theatening runs, took people on, fast direct passing. Did a real shift in defence, too, and saved us a goal. And while others jogged about and scowled at each other and looked like they thought they were too good to have to try, and hard-done-by by the universe, he played like a pro.
You can say 'yeah he does all that but no end product'. But come on: if the likes of Lawrence and Waghorn (and even CKR) did their main jobs as well as he did his, we'd have won today. You can't blame him for not doing _everything_ when some others don't seem to be doing _anything_

Problem if they did deduct points at such a stage is that we would then appeal and how would that be over by start of next season etc etc.

I mentioned this, but was told I was wrong because they already all had contracts elsewhere. So they dont care, that’s why it’s nothing to do with the manager. They are also useless, which also why it’s got nothing to do with the manager.
So useless in fact they’ve all secured contracts with other clubs well before the seasons end...........go figure!
?

Presumably they may want contracts elsewhere

So true. This is one of worst aspects of how things have been run over the last few years - Derby have gone from a plucky team who played great football to win League twice, had the fun Jim Smith years etc to a team many football fans cant stand. You really notice this change in attitude living away from Derby

Boro will be up for it vs Sheff W because Warnock hates them
Barnsley could almost confirm playoffs if they beat a tired Rotherham in a local Derby
Birmingham will be pretty much safe so hopefully will play into our hands
All things that COULD work in our favour

Wing can't play tonight and he's been doing well . step forward Zoon off the bench to score tonight. You know it's going to happen.

If we'd conceded 6 fewer against Rotherham things would be looking a *whole* lot nicer...

And without Cardiff in particular our goal diff wouldnt be like an extra point to Rotherham

It's clear three from four will be relegated and we are one of those four. But also the other three would rather be in our position. It's largely between us and Rotherham for the final place. If Wednesday or Wycombe overtake us from their current positions, we deserve the drop.
We have four games left. Every one is a cup final. Two wins will be enough. One win and a couple of draws may do it. Anything less and I think we're down. This is the moment we see what our players are made of. How much bottle they have. Are they shrinking violets or are they about to stand up and be counted?
Youth or experience? Attack or defense? What's going to save us?

Exactly this. There's been so many silly mistakes, lapses in concentration, sloppy play, etc. this season. We could easily be several points better off if we'd cut them out. This is one of the key things to focus on if we want to improve next season.

The Coventry and Preston at home so close together spring to mind . 3 points. Plus the two points robbed at forest and one at Watford with the disallowed goal and the penalty combined with bank defending the other night. refs have cost us as many. Got a couple of fortunate ones at Norwich though. Every team gets them but we’ve had more than average this season
