Have you seen the business plan? Do you know of ongoing commitments taken on by Mr Clowes when he saved the club eg Bielik payments still falling  due even though he has gone? When you say "sounds like clowes does't want to spend" I am not sure exactly what you mean - do you mean he is trying to run the club sustainably matched to our income rather than getting us in debt or risking even more of his business/family's money? If so good that is what we need after nearly being obliterated by Mel. If fans dont accept that they are likely going to be unhappy going forward all of the time unless they have funds they are willing to put into the club.

Nope, nothing to report. Think people are worrying over nothing. Ideally you want permanent players but loans will and should do the job

Not for me Waggy spent a lot of time on the sidelines through injury in his last season for us, personally I would much prefer Dobbin back due to his pace and potential to improve his final product

I didn't see the game yesterday, but didn't Bird play further forward and play a couple of neat balls? Mendez-Laing definitely scored from a cute pass by him. Collins scored from a cross by Smith. We have got players in the middle that can create chances for the forwards. We need to be aware of when we need to change tactics if plan A isn't working. I just don't think that we are any worse than last season.

When did you seen the plan? Can you share it with us?
Let’s not start jumping to conclusions again about what Clowes is or isn’t willing to do. The club has a budget to work to, and a business plan agreed with the EFL, provided we’re working towards that the fans have to accept the decisions the leadership of the club take for now, whether we like it or not.

I don't interprete there being a reluctance, just a realisation that the correct choice has to be made with limited resources.

I liked Waggy generally as a player who gave his all but he missed so many open goals, but Martin 😍😍

You won't see many better passes this season than the one Bird made during the build up to the second goal.  The back heel for the third was nice as well.
I'm hoping he'll play to his potential this season and really begin to make a name for himself.  He's wasted in Lg1.

Bird’s weight of pass to Ward fantastic. First time too. First half highlight for me 

Outstanding first half that. Much, much more like it. Particularly Bird, who is playing like a man possessed in the more advanced role.
Really impressive stuff, let’s hope we can keep this up - some lovely interplay in the final third, which we haven’t seen in pre season so far.
