They've utterly broken football with VAR and stupid off-side rule changes.

MaltRam reacted to Steve How Hard? in This run we're on, as good as it is....
I can't wait until we're crowned champions and we're all dancing around singing "We only had 5 men, we only had 5 men. 5 men......"

Reeled in Ipswich a bit as you say. Their recent record is 1 win in 5 with three draws on the spin? With them to come here, a game in hand and a seven point deficit - they're catchable with a good second half to the season.
Sheffield Wed look the pick of the division to me, and I think we gave them too much of a start. I reckon they'll push on and win it.
Plymouth showed down here they're a good side, although Whitaker was the catalyst for them and they'll miss him. 14 points, with 2 games in hand? Big ask, but...
They've got a couple of winnable games next up (Accrington and Cheltenham), before they go to Sheff Wed at the end of the month. If we want to have a chance, we need to step up and win these next two tricky games against Bolton and Pot Vale. If we maintain the gap and they go and lose at Hillsborough, we'll have the chance to go 11 behind with two games in hand and a visit to their place to come. They'd be feeling the heat over their shoulder from Sheff Wed and that creates tension...it could be on, but for me these next two are key for us to drag ourselves into the hunt.

I think this would be a masterstroke. Proper player at Champ level, could be outstanding in a good L1 side.

We are playing some lovely stuff in spells.
Tough couple of games coming up though. Can we deliver against a step up in quality from the three we just beat?

I’m hoping the fitness will be a big plus (as it showed in the cup ) Also the unmistakable sense that, unlike the start of the season, we are a team that really has “gelled”
As an aside, what a difference Knight has made in releasing Hourihan. Connor was a gentleman footballer strolling around, a little dazed in unfamiliar neighbourhood, now he’s a canny old fox.

MaltRam reacted to uttoxram75 in We are Derby
We've been through some tough times, when you put all the horrendous Covid stuff alongside the financial firestorm of the Morris era together we are lucky to have a club left to support.
But we have a fantastic club to support, we still have our wonderful, stressful, beautiful club to support.
We are averaging 26,000 in the third division. We are selling out most away games, we are Derby.
I love this football club, I love everything about DCFC. I love the history, I love people like @loweman2 doing all the stuff about shirts, @Inverurie Ram with his Rams flag thread,
Whatever happens this season, whether we make the play offs or even sneak into the autos, it doesn't really matter.
Being part of the DCFC family is what matters. We are Derby. Enjoy every game you go to and get behind the team.
