What's the betting that somewhere along the line one of the bidders is using funds linked to Russia? Hence the clarification of "certain details".

Answered my own question . They offered 250k to my knowledge.  He supports that team with a 70 million pound wage bill ,5 players on loan and with 4 players in the squad signed for over 57 million and all this on attendances averaging around 9000. Yep, everyones forgotten FFP breakers Bournemouth.

I really miss the Green Un. I was in photos printed in it about 4 times a year for about 10 years, and at least every other week for scoring.
I wish I'd kept them all. It was also great for finding which teams your ex team-mates were playing in.
Most of is was pre-printed during the afternoon and then the latest scores added as a rush at 4:50pm, they were sometimes still warm and damp when bundled and out.
 
 

It’s because whichever way you look at Mel has left Quantuma a steaming turd to deal with, or they have agreed to take on a steaming turd and maybe should have been less optimistic in their initial communications. Either way it’s still a steaming turd. 
The debts are way in excess of what the club is worth. If we took the attitude you can’t offer what’s needed walk away we would be liquidated.
We don’t have a lifelong Derby fan billionaire waiting in the wings to buy the club at whatever price. Clearly people want to buy the club as they recognise it’s potential but they are not going to pay over the odds. As a result negotiations like this will happen and they will be protracted and if Mike Ashley has positioned himself as the front runner then he will pull every stunt possible to drive the price down, he will not care about a -15 point deduction, he might think by providing the right backing we could overcome that and he’d rather do that than pay over the odds to service debts that are not his.
Its frustrating but not unexpected and backs up everything the Athletic journalist Matt Slater has said for months about how dire our situation is.
But the EFL won’t kick us out the league providing we have funds to continue which is in admins control and we have bidders in play.

We have funding for a matter of weeks and all parties involved think it’s a game of 9D chess. Scandalous.
The lack of urgency and the lack of willingness to get a deal done suggests to me that no-one involved really cares about the fate of the club, but merely about their bottom line.
At the end of the day, these ‘interested parties’ know what it will take to get a deal done and they know that the club’s future hangs in the balance.
It gets to a point where you just think: stop wasting everyone’s time. If you can’t offer what’s needed, walk away.

Don't you see though how the new owners are inextricably linked to the outcome of point 2?
If the prospective bidders won't offer enough for the club to satisfy the EFL rules on creditors then yes they automatically will be aware that the club they are bidding for will be subject to a further 15 point sanction.
Which probably means that the prospective bidders don't think that the club is worth that much to them to avoid this. 

It brings me so much joy to know that Leeds first season back in the PL was the covid season so no fans allowed to attend games. The second season with fans finally allowed back and it’s looking likely they’ll be relegated and have now just lost Bielsa.

You cannot judge the work of an Administrator on the basis that not one offer achieved a ‘baseline’ threshold. Buyers will only pay what they are willing to pay. No amount of cajoling is going to make a Buyer pay more than they think the asset is worth. All 3 parties still in the game are Investors not Benefactors.

take this with a pinch of salt but ive heard from my source thats usually correct (can go through my history to verify) that mike ashley and binnies are the 2 confirmed bids. Appleby and his consortium backed out. Personal opinion is that Ashley will be the new owner 

He was one of my favourite players of the pre Jim Smith era. Hope he makes a full and speedy recovery
