If it happens,  it will be because the Club want it to rather than the player.

Just my opinion, we need quality over quantity. We don't need 2 or 3 players who will sit on the bench waiting for minutes, we need a number 9 who can score goals.
If there is a budget, blow the lot on a decent striker, that will be the difference between top 2 and not.

I know we are, but there’s seemingly an appeal to joining them for some players, he wouldn’t be the first to drop down a league for their money. 

Collins isn’t the reason we’re 2-1 down by the way, watch the first half highlights back and there were 2 or 3 crosses cut out for corners in which he’s right there in the right position, some good defending stopped him scoring in my opinion. You want to slate a player or two for that half he’s lower down the priority list. 

Someone a bit like bamford was at the time, I know is unpopular now around here. But genuinely offered a goal threat from nothing on his loan spell. Had that bit of extra quality too.

I think from NMLs perspective if Hull are in they'd be the most tempting, that said its Hull that would surprise me the most if they are in for him. Whom so ever is managing Birmingham come January may want him to fight against relegation, but I'd probably advise staying at Derby and see what close season brings. He's having a good season at Derby, one that can be marketed by his agent come the summer, should we go up or not. For us if he stays and gets us up, job done, we can sit with his representatives and see if we can work something out.

I’m not too bothered about a winger. NML, Barks, Wilson and Ward will provide chances. Collins is the workhorse. We need a finisher.
Also hope we get a first choice midfielder with some class, to give us options when the fixtures mount up and legs get tired.
ATM we don’t have a strong enough three man midfield if we had to counter a strong opposition midfield.
We’ve been allowed to use effectively a four man midfield with two wide players.
Thompson’s return will help, and Fornah is a good sub, but for me another midfielder (Dan Crowley would be 😊)is the step towards top two.
Great win yesterday. Let’s hope we can win the next two!

Last season I was expecting Plymouth to fall back for the same reasons. Lots of late comebacks to win by one it seemed at the time. But fair play to them they never did and actually improved post January 

I think the burning question here is, who's going to bother watching the Champions League now?

How would we know if he’s better than Collins? Thursday night he had one decent piece of service and bagged. Every other cross delivered was cleared or went 10 yards over his head. Unless Juke is 17 ft tall he isn’t scoring from them crosses either. 

It would be a great idea if we could get some scarves made with "wave your scraves and flanges" or something along those lines.  Maybe a large flag/banner or a load of smaller flags?

Talking of late comebacks, Portsmouth have done it this season a few times. In their 1st match back in August they drew 1-1 at home to Bristol Rovers with Yengi scoring in the 93rd minute. Bishop scored a 95th minute equaliser at Pride Park. Against Wycombe at home they won 2-1 with Shaughnessy scoring in the 98th minute. Then another home against Carlisle winning 1-0 Shaughnessy scores in the 93rd.
Half of their 14 wins have been by the odd goal, lady luck seems to have been on their side so far this season. I don't want forum members reminding me that they were the better team at Pride Park that day, yes they was but Derby were poor back in September. Lets hope their luck and odd goal win dry up and (Derby) "We are coming for you Pompey" does happen.
