    Are there?

We know Ashley has the money, and whatever the 'entitled' Geordies think, he'll spend some. He took them up twice and has sold them for a profit.

He's a businessman first but he must love football a little bit and what better place to be! #COYR

    Agree with this.

Know one knows where the money behind the other “bids” is really from. Just have the front man/men.

They could be financing it all with debt at high interest rates and are planning to pay themselves high Executive wages while club bumbles along.

Why are we discussing the Play Off final on this thread?!

Concern for me is if Ashley has pulled out, how much financial muscle do the Binnies and Appleby groups have? If Appleby is struggling to raise the money for the takeover it doesn’t bode well for our long term prospects! The Binnies are unknown in regards their wealth. Ashley has the funds, he’s just a tight arse. I’m kind of hoping he’s still in the running.

Don’t think Ashley has any trouble raising money. He just has a view (probably pretty accurate) on the value of the club as a business and won’t pay more.

So.. What’s more depressing than the (no) takeover.

    NOT A 4King POLL.

    a) The Leicester Play Off Final Defeat.

    b) The QPR Play Off Final Defeat.

    c) The Villa Playoff Final Defeat.

    God I’m depressed now…..

"Derby are exploring whether they can be saved from potential liquidation by an insurance policy worth just £2.5million...Yet Sportsmail has learned that all parties have been alerted to the existence of an insurance policy that they believe could provide the breakthrough. Potential buyers are examining whether, for the £2.5m cost of the policy, they would be protected even if Boro and Wycombe’s claims were successful."

Guess it is just a form of gambling, where someone (with legal expertise backing) recon’s that chances of winning are so good that they can make an easy £2.5m.

It would feel a bit like giving in though. Mel should buy it for us..

Yeah the fight has gone from me I'm afraid.

Football is supposed to be my release from every day life and I've found myself more stressed about this than my job and kids.

Just wish they would do whatever they want to do and let us fans just get back to watching football.

Right now I feel that if we are liquidated I will never watch a football match ever again.

This is EXACTLY how I’ve felt this week….

Started to think about the golf bats in the garage with the cobwebs on..

I don’t believe there is a need for a campaign.

    - The administrators will not want to settle for a penny with either Boro or Wycombe.

    - Gibson and Couhig will not drop their claims.

    - The EFL have clearly stated their position now.

    - Not a chance getting the admin, Mel, MSD, Gibson, Couhig and the EFL into the room would persuade any of the above to change.

The only option now, is to take the football creditor status to the high court, or the claim itself through arbitration.

Positive Quantuma will be aware of this now and cannot delay in getting the ball rolling.

Why can’t they for king get on with it. I’m in trouble with the RSPCA for the amount of times I’ve tried to kick the cat..

  7. Am I right in saying that the rules do not say “Clubs in admin who don’t pay football creditors 100% must be liquidated”?

I was under the impression that the rule was 15 point penalty if you do not. Can someone confirm.

If so this would make liquidation no more probable if parasites win as it just means the other creditors get more of a haircut as buyers won’t pay any more. It merely makes the -15 points a certainty. Possibly with more umbongos etc..

It might just be me, but I have this niggling feeling that the Arbitration will not be fair.  I just don't trust the EFL or Mr Gibbon not to have some way of 'nobbling' the panel.

What outcome is “best” for the EFL?

If it comes out with a Rams killing verdict it will look bad for them and will encourage other clubs to claim against each other.

If it comes out with a favourable verdict for us then they can say to the 70 odd clubs we worked the process but speculative claims are not the way forward.

BBC really is garbage isnt it..not a mention of the red card handball in the report...then this..

Then, six minutes into added time, substitute Krystian Bielik returned from a year out with an anterior cruciate ligament injury to hit a late equaliser, which could have been disallowed either for the offside Richard Stearman's headed pass or for his dangerous finish with an overhead kick that nearly connected with Blues defender Teden Mengi's head.

    Them nearly fouls…. ?‍♂️

I could see how it would appeal to. Luke if offered the chance.... Out of contract in the summer, London boy and ex Arsenal player, chance to play for a Arsenal legend.

Hope he stays more chance of game time here though.

Presumably he left Aresnhole for Derby because he wanted better chance of progressing his career. He would be miles of starting a prem game so not an obvious positive step (assuming he is happy personally in the culture capital of the East Midlands ?) to advance going to Palace right now as opposed to playing another 10+ Games for us.

Exactly. Win and we get taken over and continue as a club.

Lose and are liquidated the following day.

Still not 109% clear of what this B will be asked to arbitrate on

are the claims to be deemed as football creditors ?

or are the claims valid and the values fair?

     or both?

If we were to lose we could still avoid liquidation as the parasites will just get the agreed haircut on debt and we get -15 points. Just means the other creditors get less if the price people will pay is fixed.
