I remember these as a cinema, Pink Cocunut and Paradise.  The fact you were going to these as their later incarnations and you have a daughter about to start going out makes me feel depressingly old.  The Blue Note is still alright to be honest if there's good live band on. It's packed.
Derby was a brilliant night out till about 1999, particularly on a packed all dayer on Sadler Gate on a bank holiday. After that it slowly became the load of b******* it is today.

you could say that about any squad we've had in the last 20 years though.  How many of any squad we had in the championship had the majority of their careers in the top flight.  Non I can think of bar Bent, maybe Ledley and Weimann when he signed and probably none of the 13/14 squad.  They were all lower end SPL or perennial mid table championship players under Clough/Mac 1.
The team we have now has far more experience of higher level football than League 1, than our championship sides had of football in a higher division and they were pushing for promotion for 6 years. 
 

please point out who's moaning 'for the sake of it' and who's 'moaning' because they don't like certain aspects of what they see and have a longer term view than on Warne's suitability to manage us long term.
Seriously. Think there needs to be some sort of 'line in the sand' drawn somewhere so people know what they're allowed and not allowed to post and how often.
Maybe set up a separate forum page for the elitist arses who want an echo chamber and consider any comment critiquing Warne in even the slightest way as being abusive and unreasonable toward him?

Lovely.  We can go back in time to get two defenders to put their foot through the ball in 2014, or back to the 12 months we spent 12 million quid on Anya, Butterfield and Blackman on 4 year deals.  We could even stop Frank starting a play off final with a bloke who can't get a game at Burton as our sole attacking option for an hour.

If the Championship is rubbish bar 3/4 teams , how would you rate League 1  ? Appalling ? Pathetic ? Dire? Cheltenham are the worst team to ever face DCFC in a league game . Let’s try and rise above mid table  ASAP.

The bits I enjoyed were the clips of league tables consistently showing Derby in the top 8 places of the table.  We were 5th in the Arsenal documentary I watched the other week and the clips of Franny Lee I've seen we were champions .  70's, 80,s and 90's.
We should forget all that though based on one crap season and accept that Bournemouths parachute payments and Brentford having a few good transfer windows means the football tides have turned forever.

We would have been midtable in any normal season with Lawrence, a bunch of kids, some castoffs and a central defence pushing 110 years between them.  The championship is rubbish outside 3 or 4 clubs..  If we go up we'd stay up and finish comfortably mid table with a bit ofcash spent on a striker and a quick centre back.

Sure I just heard our head 'coach' say our plan was to not use the midfield at all.  Dynamic thinking against a side of giants who can't move but can head all day.  My plan was too not use the central areas at all and get it out wide every time.
