A DRUNKEN British husband and wife have been cuffed while trying to fly out of Gibraltar with their kids.
The man, 54, and woman, 53, were arrested yesterday evening on charges of being intoxicated whilst in charge of a child.

There is a massive lack of general respect in society from children compared to when I was young and I'm only in my forties. Had a situation 2017 when I arrived home in the snow to find three kids having a snowball fight on my garden .  They were with there parent's who told me on my rather forceful complaint that they were just kids having fun .   Feral parent's and the lack of allowed discipline in society for fear of said feral parent reaction will only make this worse as time go's on . My cousin is headmaster at an infant's school and say's they have an increasing influx of 5 year old's who have to be taken the toilet when they start school as they don't know how to clean themselves with toilet paper . Society is broken .

People who hunt for purses and hold me up getting on a bus .
People who argue with drivers about why the bus should take them to the place they want to go , despite the fact they've got on the wrong bus
people who sit behind me on buses ,  coughing and snorting even if there are seats nowhere near me .
people who play music on there phones on buses.
loads of kids screaming and shouting on buses
late buses with no explanation or reason

I’m with you regarding hating buses - I particularly hated the one that drove through a red light at the bus station and smashed into the side of my car

Watched a documentary on Netflix yesterday called Last breath about an incident in the North Sea .  Won't spoil it -  best documentary I've seen in a while .    There was one repeated on BBC recently about the Penlee lifeboat - also very good .

Yes,  as I recall the odds were heavily stacked for a Lacy win.  America was certain he was going to win .  Always remember Don Kings reaction after the Lacy fight.  'calzaghe took Jeff out of Kindergarten into school tonight. '  Hopkin's wasn't the best fight .  Seem to recall it involved Hopkins basically hugging a lot and not a deal else after the first round .  Glad you enjoyed watching though .  There was a Calzaghe career documentary released a few years ago. Well worth a watch .

Without trying to get back into this argument on here which is taboo- but I haven't brought it up.   If someone votes to leave it doesn't mean they have no social awareness,  believe we stood alone or Europe owes us.  Neither are they spuriously brain dead with no viewpoint worth consideration.  In the words of Bill Hicks ' No one dies for a flag -they die to give you the right to burn flags if you choose'. We live in a democracy - someone can have a differing view without being constantly harangued for it.

I did go to university-  It does show you have the capacity to learn things but you only really make money from doing a degree if it's specialises you down a particular route - rather than jack of all trade's business like mine.   For anyone whose done one recently, from experience I would advise it only has relevance for about six years.  After this, see what you can do to increase you skill set further . 
Incidentally,  my uncle left school at fifteen,  became a pipe layer and is now minted after starting his own business at thirty so there are many avenues.
What I find very demoralising is the lack of career opportunity in Derby as a whole - Courtaulds, Qualcast, BREL all gone .  Also much of  Royal Mail and practically all Civil Service jobs moved to Nottingham .  We are slowly becoming a city devoid of long term opportunity for all to allow for real long term life plan's .  Our local MP'S need to do more to protect job's in the city

Old people who claim to be important and then end up crashing and injuring another person, without personally apologising to them. Then have the nerve to drive the next day in a brand new car without wearing a seatbelt ?

There were certainly discussions back in 88/89 for Cruyff to come in as manager.  I believe that summer we also made moves to bring in Wise and Townsend as well as Houghton . 
 
 

Think that one went to the wire - Baggio waiting to sign in Italy but Derby wouldn't budge on a last minute one off payment.  Think Petit was a done deal till Wenger realised and came in last minute, he was actually in the country and on his way here. .  Could be worse though Jim Smith had Maradona on trial - at Birmingham I believe - and sent him home because he was too small .

Always worth looking at old footage of Jack Dempsey as well.  Makes Mike Tyson look like a pussycat .  Probably the most naturally aggressive fighter ever -  Apparantly he learned to fight as a homeless 12 year old stopping other drifters stealing his blankets in box cars and fighting off unwanted advances.  Then moved on to fighting local bare knuckle champions around America as part of a carnival when he was fifteen.  Suppose someone under Queensbury rules with gloves on doesn't faze you much after that .

Always loved boxing although I don't see as much now as it's a bit spread out over so many channels .  Also too many titles means too many poor champion's . 
Best I've seen is Calzaghe in my thirty five years of watching .  His only problem was under motivation against run of the mill opponents which meant America largely ignored him till he beat Kessler and took apart their champion elect in Jeff Lacy.  Always wished he'd taken on Carl Froch as it would have been a three round walkover. Always remember him giving Froch the most hilarious put down when he retired '  his missus would give me more of a fight - she must hate me, he probably has pictures of me in the bedroom and talks about me in his sleep '.
McGuigan was very good but made the mistake of taking on Steve Cruz in daytime heat in Las Vegas and never really recovered.  Heavyweight boxing nowadays is just a joke.  I don't bother at all.
 

I wasn’t suggesting heavyweights should drop down in weight. In some cases, like Fury, it would be impossible.
My gripe is at heavyweight, there generally tends to be a dearth of top talent and I think this particular era isn’t really a good one.
I don’t actually think AJ is that good of a fighter. He has great knockout power, but as Fury said, they all should at that weight.
I wouldn’t put him as a top 10 pound for pound in the world. But for some reason, he is the biggest name in boxing and earns the most. But why? Is Hearn that good of a promoter? Or what is it about heavyweights that attract more casuals than welterweights?
I can’t believe AJ makes like £20 million a fight for beating up the likes of Martin, Takam and a 39-year-old Povetkin. I’m not an AJ hater or anything, I just think he’s absolutely milking it for the talent that he has.
Far better pound for pound boxers are making 1/10 of what AJ earns for taking on far more difficult and skilled opponents.
 

I ordered a leather sofa from them  .   They left us sat on garden chairs for three months due to a delay in delivery from Belgium due to "Chinese new year".  When it turned up, the glaze on the leather failed after six months .  The next one had a huge mark in the leather so I refused to accept .  the next one was not the same type of leather and they eventually admitted it had not come from Belgium as the original but Lithuania - they gave me an £50 apology fee.  That leather lasted 9 months and the glaze failed .  Everything took  3-4 Months at a time to get done and the product I have is still awful apart from the wooden base .   I would rather have a game of pie eating russian roulette with Burnsey than ever deal with them again .
