That was pretty much what I expected with a 70 million wage bill.  Attendances of 7k and a 25 million quid striker getting splinters with another 40 odd million of strikers playing.  Footballs broken.  If they'd still been in the championship this year they'd have been fooked.  Sheff Utd are turning down offers of 20 million for players but owe millions in unpaid transfer fees.  If they caught over the final stretch they are fooked. West Brom have taken loans on the ground and training facilities from MSD which sounds familiar.  Next year they will be another one in a horrendous position. If Villa had lost to us they would be where we are now.

I think they may be taken by a few 50 year old Forest saddos living local, turning up with their homemade flags they made with the forced help of their embarrassed children.  Worked out well for them last year.

LOL - the last student accommodation block we built (opposite Queen St Baths) has been condemned already when they discovered that the developer had cut corners on the fire regs. It's unsafe to live in, and to retrofit the changes is too expensive. I believe the plan is to demolish it and start again. You couldn't make it up!

I hope they may do this for one reason.  They'll probably get some kind of grant to finally repair the very one off and unique Handyside Bridge on Friargate, rather than waiting for someone to randomly include it  in the purchase of a knackered mill and spend a million quid doing it up.  If it isn't repaired in the next few years it surely has too come down before a piece falls off and crushes some poor fecker as they drive under.

As a midfielder you assume they'll do their job as their coming across and standing directly in front..  The other option is too tackle from behind.  Forsyth ran straight past him and Davies fell over.

The time wasting wasn't really an issue yesterday.  Without it we probably lose 4-0.  I could also probably finish a 3 course meal in the time it takes Smith to complete a throw in so all good.

Yep, From the highlights Hourihane chased back...saw Forsyth running in from the left in the area Hourihane then eases off the gas, Side step by theirs and a lumbering challenge from Davies.

I agree that this happens fairly regular but yesterday a team with probably a fifth of the budget worked harder and created the better chances.  The performance was terrible.  I would also happily swop the much maligned Marriott who did the job of stretching the defence and creating space far more effectively than Collins who spends all his energy moaning like fook and waving his arms at the ref and scuffling.

I think Curtis might be as match fit as he's going to get.  The legs are gone I'm afraid.  For their second with Marriott behind and not picked up, he had to slightly delay his movement to get out to the fella running at him and it was clear he had no chance of getting there 3 seconds before he scored.

I left that game thinking that first 45 minutes was the worst I'd ever seen a Derby side play taking into account the opposition as a levelling tool.  Thought at the end maybe it wasn't as bad as I recalled.  Bloke walks past saying the first 45 minutes was the worst I'd ever seen a Derby side play taking into account the standard of opposition.

Just tell him he's dead right that we've spent 10 million on agents fees, average 25k a week in wages and still have Tom Lawrence cryogenically frozen on a 10 million a year retainer till we grace the championship once more.  We hope to thaw him out at Wembley in May, hopefully against Plymouth.
