DesertRam reacted to Bob The Badger in Cheltenham Town (A) Sat 14th Jan
For those of you old enough to be watching during Arthur and Jim days when we got promoted.
Do you remember those close wins that we stressed over in the second half?
No?
Me neither.
Get a grip people.
Look at the table, just look at the table.

Man of the decade for DCFC. Love him.

Winner winner chicken dinner.
Should never have been as close as that, but we struggled against their set pieces.
But take the three points and move on, some tough games in this league and to get 3 points here is great!

One of my favourites is a Bahn Mi Sandwhich, which has pork, cucumber pickled carrot and Daikon
along with Cilantro, Jalopeno's mayo and soy sauce. Origons from Vietnam/Thailand.
The taste is fantastic a bit of heat and spice - with the Cilantro providing the overall flavour.
I always get this if it's available.

I’ll be one stride from the TV and 6 strides from the fridge. Come on you Rams!

DesertRam reacted to Caerphilly Ram in Derby v Cheltenham 24/09 potential postponement
Just sharing the info, you are of course entitled to doubt it. As the club says there is the potential to postpone the game, it suggests to me they are considering it, we’ll have to wait and see I suppose.
It’s good that the players are receiving that recognition for international honours, also good to see it’s not the same level of snobbery about league one football for all national teams ?

DesertRam got a reaction from SKRam in Barnsley (H) (FACR3) Sun 8th Jan, 12:30 KO
Barnsley looked bright to start with - but it ended up another professional home win,
and Clean sheet.
What a difference PW , RB and the others have made.
Kudos to PC for seeing the next step to stardom, it's gonna need a very good team
to halt the run we are now on - thank god i'm a Rams Fan ?

DesertRam reacted to CBX1985 in Marketing Opportunities/Commercial Revenue
It' not effective, though. Shirt advertising is grandiose. Unless you are advertising at DCFC fans, you basically put budget into a longish term commitment that is fleetingly seen (and when it is it is by the same people each time. Pitchside is more effective and flexible - it also doesn't tie you to one club to detriment of other.
There is the Old Firm issue that if Carling sponsor one they need to sponsor both, otherwise one side think it's "the other side's beer" and don't buy it.
I have always thought football clubs should get a Credit Card franchise and advertise those on club shirts; we would have the "Rams-Card". That way, you get the right market with a profitable product that doesn't lose clients' the other side of the A52 (as they'd have the Forest Card). Vertical integration is the way to maximise revenue.

+Disagree with most on here, i'd have him back in a shot - he would certainly
solve that steel situation in midfield.
As for his age - he's 31 so another 3 yrs at least
perhaps not if we are getting Bielik back but .............

DesertRam reacted to Srg in Cambridge United (H) Fri 30th Dec
Wasn’t great, but you take the points and move a step closer to the January window. Thought it was the most “Rosenior-like” performance we’ve had since he left first half… was lethargic, slow, deliberate, static and just overall awful.
Dobbin best player on the pitch. End product iffy, but roasted his man every single time and deserved his goal completely.
They were well organised in fairness to them, their left back Brophy looks decent. Didn’t look like creating a chance without us doing it for them if we had played for another month straight. As an aside, what a weird group of fans who didn’t sing about their own team and just spent the few moments of noise they mustered to talk about Forest. Dead weird.

Trains are travelling along as they normally do in the Aberdeenshire area.
I will not be giving anyone a lift anywhere, as it’s the season to be merry and my car is enjoying the Christmas Holidays also, by remaining in the same position for several days and doing very little. It’s owner might warm it up, now and again, by hiding in it, from the kids, and listening to some music in peace.
Bolton Wanderers v Derby County
