Just to join in the guessing game.
DCFC were told to submit restated accounts for the 2016, 2017 and 2018. They say "we've submitted HMRC compliant accounts to Companies House and can't change them but we will provide information showing how they would look using your preferred amortisation policy".
As with everyone else no clue, just a guess which fits the little info we have.

If Wayne gets his eight players then we will make the play offs. The style of play is absolutely obvious. It is ideal for this league. We have a defensive plan. We have a midfield plan. We are resilient and committed. We can be quickly derailed by injuries. We KNOW where we are heading now. COYR.

Baldock getting the 9 shirt I feel is further evidence that the plan was to go into the season with him leading the line. His goal record is poor and I don't think it will change too much here but I also don't think it's why he's being signed. I suspect he's being signed to get Lawrence scoring regularly. I think the plan tactically is that Baldock stretches the defence, putting the centre backs on the back foot so that Lawrence has space in front of the defence to operate. This is very similar to how Rowett deployed Nugent in order to give Vydra time and space.
Personally I wouldn't judge him too much on how much he scores and don't expect him to score more than around 5, judge him on if the attacking midfield behind him starts scoring more.

Probably a stretch to far at the age of 39 but I wonder if there’s Any consideration from Wayne to play jags as a holding John eutace type
give the back line some much needed protection .. he’s played that role before in his career
doesn’t have to run anywhere , Stay away from the channels and plonk himself infront of the centre backs ready to step out and engage when needed
eustace did it so well it became an art
have u legs around him in the likes of shinnie, knight , Morrison etc etc
rekindle the 433 and get Morrison and Lawrence higher up the pitch

My theory / best guess is that our straight line method keeps 'just about' within the limits, but once submitted leaves us absolutely no room for manoeuvre and guarantees us living off scraps for the next few years, whereas...
..what we want to do is submit our new accounts using that extra £30m from the PPS sale and use the wriggle room we gain from it to remain competitive (but hopefully a bit more sensibly!) in the market.
If things don't work out how we want them to we can still bring in a few frees in an effort to ensure we survive, but if it does go how we want we can better support Rooney with the players we feel he needs to thrive.

The sooner we all realise this is politics not accountancy the better.

The argument is taking place within the EFL and it’s numerous committees and main board
It is those who want us punished, possibly because  Mel went to war with them but really because they will lose face if we aren’t  , Versus those who don’t because, right or wrong, things have gone far enough.
The rest is window dressing and self justification.

    Wow!
    Just logged on.
Clicked on the all too familiar "We have not seen you for a while... confirm your contact details" etc... (Bull-poo... we speak almost daily!)
Big red notice advising me they have reservations for me...
They've only gone and reserved my ST seat for both Boro & The Dogs game.
Tick both... opt for print at home (only other option is 1st class post at £1 each... no mobile option this time).
    Done!

Very quick.  Very simple.  Very professional.  Very user-friendly.
How come I never get anything to moan about, and throw sticks at Mel.  This is getting boring now!

    BOOOOOOOO!

    EDIT TO ADD:
Tickets have arrived by email within a minute, and both now printed off.
I printed at work though, not at home... but I've always been a rebel, me!  Sod 'em!

I love the balance on this forum. If you express anything less than a positive opinion 100% of the time about a player then you're a hater.

If you're looking at football to be reputable and some kind of moral guide I suggest you repoint your compass.  Next you'll be surprised that MP's fiddle their expenses or that Sir Phillip Green could leave a pension fund hole.

Only listened to end of part one but I don't see anything hugely wrong here.
Presume you're talking about the way Morris agrees to write off money to benefit Derby. I would say that should be applauded rather than pilloried.  Also goes to fill I  some of the blanks from what came out of the supporter meeting. Effectively that would need to be agreed and ratified by the EFL in order for it to go ahead but in reality it isn't illegal and isn't against the rules really.
The fact that they met someone who appears to be less than legit is also no real surprise. The meeting was set up by a known fixer and would appear to have not gone further than an initial meeting.
It's like selling your house...do you ask to see all the details, background, CRB checks of everyone that comes to look around?
    Absolute none story.
