Apparently the City Council's Ambassador for Businesses has advised them that it will be better if they pay £81m for it.

He remains our best attacking threat….

We had an off today.
To see someone make 2 posts calling us an embarrassment is infuriating and I am going to defend these players that are giving it everything. Don't like if feel free to put me on ignore.

OMG… protecting their own ass and deflected it our way and have the temerity to say they are unaware of any detail.
So they lit the fuse and are standing well back … of course, we all know there is no vendetta and they are truly impartial ? 

Probably. Heard from a very good source (that lives in the same row of houses) that he sold his place down in Sandbanks as well, where the average house price is a cool £1.5m. 

You only have to look at the messages of support from fans of other clubs. It's clear that the dislike and lack of respect for the EFL is universal.
Their lack of support for Wigan, Bolton and others was shocking. Bury, it was a disgrace.
I think it's clear that the EFL is not fit for purpose. Amateur old men with self interests.
Football, as a whole, is no longer the people's game. The Premier League is all that matters to the media in this country. But it was the European Super League that really showed that the money people do not care about the supporters - just the revenue with which they line their pockets.
I do not know where Tracey Crouch is with the investigation and report into football governance.
However, I am sure that the loss of such a big club as Derby County, champions of England 50 years ago and founders of the Football League, will create an earthquake in the game. It will shake things up.
The EFL will simply not survive.

Win or lose from here on out, the EFL in its current guise is toast.

I think that’s probably correct, whilst they may have decided on a PB, that bid may be not be formalised until the Boro/WW claims are withdrawn as the potential PB doesn’t want to be liable for any spurious ‘liabilities’..I also believe the EFL stated that they needed to be ‘sorted’ before they will consider a PB

Being at the game yesterday It was only about 7pm when I got back and listened to the Radio Derby Spotscene Podcast.  Ed Dawes's heartfelt , almost passionate call for fan action comment, about a need for more consolidated action was something that really hit home and my did he mean it. Its been a long time, maybe 30years since Graham Richards's  "this team is going nowhere" report that a BBC commentators comment had hit me so deep. Despite some of the negatives ED gets occasionally, Ive already emailed My MP (Andrew Bridgen NW Leics) and he's begun tweeting in DCFC support, this needs Parliament to break up this EFL witch hunt and corruption.  well said ED, everybody, do something... but can we please have a post match consolidation report like Graham used to do. 

People have different options on Ed, I like the guy, he's a fan doing what he enjoys and his plea yesterday was heartfelt which has rallied the fans to be able to drive things forward, well done Ed

The EFL appear to be extremely obstructive and doing everything they can to prevent or facilitate our takeover to the extent of pushing a member club into extinction….as an Association they are thoroughly loathsome and disingenuous
