Dug this old thread out, just to say well done to Fozzy.
I remember seeing him flying down the left and whipping in some terrifying crosses and thinking he was some player.
Then I saw him being given a lesson at home against Wolves and thought he was finished, likewise with the three ligament injuries.
But then he reinvents himself as a CD when needs must, with the signings of Nelson, Bradley and Elder I thought his days would be number.
But no Fozzy has re reinvented himself as a LB again and is keeping people out - assisting and scoring.
What an absolute legend, what a club man

I've just arrived home from the BRI after slipping over just after the Wigan game and needing minor surgey. No crutches but a leg brace. Hopefully back in time for a win against Oxford.

Saw your dad at the game yesterday. It still feels like Daniel will come walking down the concourse to join us any minute. 
He's definitely overseeing this unbeaten run and long may it continue. 
Oxford will come at us on Friday, should suit us. Another win will be very useful.

hope referring to B4 in the present is not upsetting ( if it is I will not do it again) but to my mind his energy is still with us and all around this forum , derby county and us derby fans lucky enough to have been touched by him

That u18s team was great to watch. It’s such a shame how things have panned out for Derby, but great to see Archie making moves for his career and getting chances in Europe.

I'm glad it went as well as these things can go.
Often, it's the quieter days after the funeral that can be the most difficult. Now that everything is settling down.

Great career, very good player for us. We may well have stayed up if he'd stayed beyond Jan.

I was just reading about Matt Clarke and the fact he’s not played for Middlesbrough for more than a year because of nerve damage in his back. Apparently he can’t even run without being in pain.
He played six games after signing for them from Brighton (£4.5m fee?) then hasn’t played since October 2022.
A real shame as I thought he was great at championship level. Hope he gets himself right. 

Me, too, especially Thomson because he is more experienced. I think he'll get his chance when he's fit again.
Could be really important for us next season with Hourihane and Smith gone.
 

Except he was doing this week in, week out for our academy for a long while. He came into the first team and because he wasn't immediately doing it for us there, a section of the fan base were straight on his back.
Morgan is a lovely, quiet guy - he did a lot of voluntary work with DCCT for example. He was hurt by the boo boys and it took him a while to recover his confidence. 
I hope he's a lesson learned for some of our brain dead fans, but I doubt it.

I was going back over to my mum's on Saturday afternoon to look after her. I timed my journey so that when the applause started I would be parked off the road in a beautiful little hamlet near mum's home called Dunstall. The light over the hilly countryside was so golden that afternoon. It made all the trees, fields and sheep and sky seem gilded with gold. Just when the applause started It seemed as though there was a moment when heaven and earth met briefly. Bless you, B4, this amazing moment summed you up.

I think I saw you speaking up for B4 perhaps on LTLF saying he was a true supporter who just had a little difficulty with words. It was in response to someone taking the piss. I really admired that.
