We live to fight another day!
Last minute change of plan for our biscuit factory.
Our current owners, Two Sisters Food Group, have sold us to a company named Boparan Private Office. Mr. Boparan is also owner of the aforementioned business.....think Mel Morris.......
We face a major restructure but seem to have secured extra business with various retailers alongside a price increase for our products and a promise of some investment.

Like @IslandExile, I don't consider Ashley as the perfect owner.
There are better options out there, but alas, none of them seem interested in taking control of DCFC.
Of those that do (seem interested), I'd say Ashley is the all-round better of those options.
If and when he arrives, he'll get encouragement and support from me, along with my hopes of a brighter future.
Some harsh comments on here, towards @IslandExile, and totally out of context with his initial comments.

If you read articles from around the time he took over Newcastle, they were - on a larger scale - in a very similar position to us.
The way Mike Ashley chose to stabilise them was by significant cost cutting.
Some folks seem to think that he will stabilise Derby by astute investment.
He has no track record of doing so.

Haven't you noticed that whenever there's a public enquiry about anything, actions of the police, NHS, councils etc. the statement put out is always "since the events mentioned, we have adopted new working practices"?
