No wonder Sheffield United are interested…he destroyed them earlier in the season (watch the below from 1min 20 on to re-live it!). 
I was fairly critical of Tom before last season but I think he really stepped up for the most part. I’d be gutted to see him playing for someone else.

I’m sure he scored 8 of Sheffield United’s 20 Premier League goals the season before last…that’s very good in that league for one of the worst sides in many years.
He is technically very good and I think he would still be very effective in league one.

Why do fans dislike players who score 10-15 goals a season but like players who score 2-3? 
 
I don’t think he would stay but I’d be over the moon if he does. Why - because it’s a guaranteed 10-15 goals. Something we don’t have yet.

Interim manager I believe 

I don’t think it will be that difficult.
Train at some of the best facilities in English football, easily the best in league one.
Play in front of 20k fans at home at one of the best stadiums in the league.
Play with young players from one of the best academy’s in the country.
I’d say even in our current state we’re pretty attractive.

I think if we stayed in the championship then he would have probably stayed.
But he’s better than league one, got the chance to move back home and play for a premier league side.
Also if we can only offer 2 year deals and Palace have given him a 5 year deal then that’s a lot of security for him, especially if he was to get a bad injury.
