Has that been brought on by all the talk of the Sport? ?

Absolutely this.
In a transfer window when Tom Cairney moves for 4 million, we buy Bradley Johnson for 6.
We wouldn't pay a few million for Dale Stephen's or Lewis Dunk, but had no problem spending 5 million on Butterfield.
We wouldn't raise the bar for Ollie Watkins, but we're happy to pay 2 million for an ageing Nugent and probably paid him twice the wages.
Our whole recruitment under Morris was an embarrassment.

Yeah I have a bed feeling too… it’s what years of following Derby does to you. We don’t get good news!

He’ll have provided proof of funds, but I’m pretty sure Alonso did too. I’m just not convinced they were actually his…

Well then, something has actually happened! Quantuma did a thing!
Let’s hope Kirchner is first and foremost actually financial capable of taking over the club, and also the right man to take it forward from here on in. Must admit I’m highly dubious about him, when compared to the other known bidders. Doesn’t seem to any clear evidence he has the level of funding required (he’s rich, but I’m not sure he’s THAT rich) and those tweets don’t exactly paint him in a good light. Nevertheless, in our situation beggars can’t be choosers. The only priority right now is to save the club, if he can do that, I’m willing to give him a chance.

I think this is big news and I’ve not been fooled by the other clap trap since Christmas! We are going to be partying soon enough.

just calm down though folks, not wanting to be the party-pooper, but "preferred bidder" and "new owner" are still a quantum leap apart.

Bit disappointed that Wayne’s gone with the suit and tie - thought he might have tried the full-on Calvin Phillips:

duck Mel Morris, duck Quantuma, duck the EFL and duck Mike Ashley.
Not one of them cares about Derby County one ounce. No one wants to save us. Let’s create our own club in time for next season, and leave this sorry mess behind.

Bit harsh, I know the pitch at PP isn’t great these days, but it’s still our home!

Millenniumram reacted to Geriatram in A very sad post
My friend has not long left of his life, He has terminal cancer and has maybe only weeks to live. He had his first season ticket when he came out of the army in the mid fifties, and has had it every season since, and then when he married in 1963 his wife had one too, they never missed a home match, but then covid came along and they have not been again. We have a mutual friend who lives in the USA he is in the UK this week end and is taking my friend to what is likely to be his last match ever. I'm just hoping if there are any protests it wont affect the match. So please spare a thought or a prayer if your so minded on Saturday. I wont say his name as he hated social media as much as he loved the Rams. So UP THE RAMS P will be thinking of you.
