10 away defeats on the spin… you can forget your points deductions, that’s just pathetic really. You don’t stay up like that.
That said, relegation was always inevitable irrespective because of Mel Morris. Painful for it to be confirmed, though it was really over after Coventry a few weeks back IMO.

Think this season came a year too early for him personally. Not his fault of course, but he was thrown in the deep end in the Championship before he was really ready, due to our circumstances. Don’t think the formation has helped him really either - 4231 doesn’t suit him, he needs to playing a terrier sort of role in a 433.
He’s one of few I expect to stay next season, and I think he’ll be far more comfortable in League One.

Hear hear. The result is the inevitable one when you have all those points deducted and a paper thin squad - relegation. But that isn’t the fault of the current players or manager. This relegation is purely on the head of a certain Mel Morris. Everyone at the club has done us proud on the pitch this season. To keep fighting as long as they have done is remarkable. I’ve certainly not felt a Derby team has cared this much in a long time.

Well duck me. Wouldn’t have expected that in a million years. Won’t make any difference in the long run, but what a result that is! Well done to all on the pitch, taking fighting to the end literally!

That’s the sort of quality we can’t contend with… moment and interplay far above what we’re capable of.

We're on the cusp of relegation but the manager, coaching staff and every single player come out of this season with enormous credit.
I am proud to be a Derby County supporter.
It has been a privilege to witness the effort of all those at the club this season.
The staff and the supporters do not deserve what we've been through - and football has to restructure itself so this does not keep happening.
But what we've seen on the pitch - against all the odds has been staggering.
    Rooney, Ram ?
    Rosenior, Ram ?
    The whole squad, Rams ?
Those behind the scenes, Rams ?
Thank you to all of you. COYR ?

Millenniumram got a reaction from Tamworthram in POLL: Stephen Pearce - Do you sack him? (ask him to resign)
Think he’s been harshly targeted without knowing the full facts… he’s the last remaining part of the previous regime so had born the full brunt of anger that should really have been aimed towards Mel. He’s got off very lightly all things considered because he ran away.
That said, with a takeover should come a total clear out of the previous regime, the CEO probably the biggest casualty. Pearce will have to go. But why should he quit? I certainly wouldn’t quit when I can get paid to do my job! And, FWIW, I think we still need him right now - from what I hear the administrators are doing nothing for their money in terms of running the club.
