How much Derby are “respected” by other clubs fans is debatable but that’s not what the debate is about. It’s whether broadcasters would find Wrexham and their Hollywood connections more appealing than Derby.

And he (while I am not one to gender stereotype, this does look a very bloke thing to do) also missed out the P, then the R and the I plus the C and the K.
This is not wealth envy, but with all that is going on in the world if anyone thinks private number plates are a necessary expense then they should receive a six point fine just for that.

I landed there once. The only thing I remember was the crocodile which was in the stream by the parking bay which eventually came on to the pan while I was trying to put the aircraft to bed. Massive thing

I think the last three transfer windows have been difficult for Derby.  Rosenior helped by players marked out by Rooney did a good job straight after administration.
Warne has found it difficult to get some of the players he wanted in the two windows he’s had but I think he’s done quite well.
Warne admitted he didn’t get it right in January with the Norwich lad and we lost Osula .
    Dobbin did ok .
He think Warne did ok in August but missed out on striker targets probably down to agents and transfer fees.

Next window will be important in keeping the likes of Bird and Cashin .
Never easy at Derby on and off the field.

I just think a couple of convincing home wins will set everyone a bit more positive.
If we were in exactly the same position but our wins had been at pride park rather than away, i think the grumps would be less full on. The concerns about the team, style, perception that we're underperforming would all still be here but the mood would be less negative in general.
And, yes, it's been 15 years of mostly dissapointment, a lot of unispiring grind, then hopes raised and dashed coming out this season, but I think that'll work itself out.

I totally agree. But wouldn't you say he has the perfect blend. Intelligence to read the game coupled with instinct, probably built up through experience. This allows him to get the job done without expending lots of energy. Which is why he looks like he is cruising. That is why he has and probably will go on a lot longer than others around him at a decent level.
Defenders probably by the very nature of their role, don't necessarily need to run as much as midfield and the forwards, so why not conserve energy..

Some people really do have short memories.
Despite relegation I loved the admin season, I was gutted when he left. That Friday night game vs Fulham was one of the best games at Pride Park.
If it wasn't for Rooney we would hold the record for the lowest Prem and Championship points. He had no chance of success at Derby and I wish him well at Brum.

Why stop at a Mazda. Lets take out a loan and go with something new straight from the factory. If the new car doesn't get us where we want to go. We can always refinance and go with something sporty. If we're still lagging behind lets go all in and re-mortgage the house to buy the best car we can.

Oh wait, I'm sure we've try this before and if memory serves correctly. This strategy nearly cost us dearly.

I don't really contribute much these days because the forum lacks fun.
If there are one or two threads regarding the manager and the performances then it's easy to ignore, if you want to, but looking at half a dozen threads with slightly different wording while essentially saying exactly the same thing is off putting in my opinion.
I'm somewhere in the middle when it comes to the manager, but I'm definitely on the side of those that think the current state of this forum, due to the over the top negativity, is not the best.

I got fed up weeks ago
At the end of last night's game the Derby fans were chanting Paul Warnes Black and White Army.
Coming onto the forum immediately afterwards you'd have thought Warne was the devil incarnate the way the same suspects discussed the performance.
There's a definite disconnect and what's so annoying is the constant stream of negativity from those same posters whom revel in picking out the criticisms of the team and manager even when we win as though it's a personal hobby and giving no credence to any positives. That's a skill in itself.

The constant vitriol is getting boring and depressing, things aren't perfect, that much is obvious, but many of us can see small steps in the right direction. Hopefully, with more players becoming available these small steps will continue and gather momentum. With a mostly fit squad, we have the capability to field a strong team using 16 players each week.
I feel that we're not far off, but need a little bit of luck and/or composure in the final third, together with eliminating stupid errors at the back. I seems like every goal we concede is a result of a defensive error and miss out putting games to bed through poor finishing or final balls.
Those days of togetherness seem to be just a distant memory, even when things weren't going quite to plan, we all stuck together. Now, I have the feeling that even if we played like Man City and won the league, there will be those still believing Warne is not the the man to do the job in the championship.

Whetever XI we select in whatever formation, they are going to have off days or face an opposition who grind out a 0-0 draw. It happens frequently in football, not just to Derby. Look up the recent Wolves v Citeh stats and think how frustrated Citeh fans will have been at their failure to score from 23 shots, 8 on target... and they are all top class internationals, including that rubbish Haaland lad who hasn't scored in the last 4 games. He needs dropping, doesn't he?
We are not going to win every game. We are not going to steamroller every opponent. They are not going to roll over just because we are Derby. IMO, the major cause of the current disgruntlement is expectation among fans. There was an expectation we'd steamroller Cheltenham. We didn't. This sort of thing has been common to Derby teams over my lifetime and I've been watching them since 1961. Teams on a poor run of form tend to do well against us. We tend to do well against teams on long winning/unbeaten runs. I remember just a few years ago. We hadn't won for 8 or 9 games, the Red Dogs came to Pride park on a 20 odd game unbeaten run. We won 1-0.
Maybe this is the Derby Way?

I'm hardly reading the Derby section of the board at the moment - so sick of the bickering, pettiness and in-grained opinions. Most have already made their minds up and just want to reinforce their opinions by repeating the same old crap over and over again.....
We have a League One squad and a League One manager - bitching isn't going to change that....

Properly get pelters for this as 80% seem to have made their mind up over Warne, but anyone else just had enough with the constant negativity towards the players and staff? It’s relentless.
Even after last nights win I’m seeing people try and twist it negatively, overall last night we played faster tempo had chances and won end off, so why the negativity?
Warnes come out and said last night about blocking outside noise out, really think knocking them will help? It’ll only make it worse, 5 in 11 for Collins decent return, what’s booing him and giving him stick going to do? Why can’t we get behind them? We’re in league 1 we won’t have world beaters that will do everything so perfectly.

1 defeat in 10 due to some terrible refereeing it’s not anywhere near as bad as people are making out, it’s as if we’ve won 1 in 10.
I can be as negative as anyone and as annoyed as anyone when we drop points etc but it’s the bigger picture move on we go again, It’s not an easy league like people expect, Sunderland sheff united Ipswich Bolton etc all got stuck for time, and probably only Bolton started in a worse rebuild situation as us…
it’s absolutely draining all the constant ‘get him gone’ ‘whose next’ ‘he’s just a P.E teacher’ I’ve missed 1 away game and 1 home and it’s honestly making me not want to go, Blackpool people singing ‘warne your football is sh*t’ then 5 minutes later singing his name, honestly think if people stop over reacting and seemingly wanting Warne to fail we could get out of this league this year. Rant over roll on the draining stick that’ll come…

They put up a pretty good show in my opinion. You still have to beat what is put in front of you. This would be their BIG game in the round robin games and a local Derby. I personally thought we played well for the most part. We just need to be more clinical.
Let's face it if half of the chances went in last night, every one would be waxing lyrical.
