Anyone know if you can pick up other people’s season ticket cards? My Dad doesn’t live locally, and we’d rather not queue up before the match tomorrow as it’s probably going to be crazy.  His Fan ID is linked to mine on the website and I actually bought his season ticket though my account, so ideally I’d prefer to pop over mid-week and grab both of our tickets myself.

Picked my daughter’s up when I got mine yesterday.

    All easy & straight forward

Hello Jim, I am the Moderator that is being referred to in the thread. There are also a few DCFC fans members who have joined recently and who may wish to say who they are - or not!

I have been posting your public updates on a thread, as well as the link showing how to join,  @WestLondonRam so not sure how you missed that. It was very simple to join, sets you back the princely sum of £2.

I asked @David if I could post Rams Trust updates and he warned me at the time I would get some flack for it. He was right!

It's early days for me, but I will repeat what I said in the other thread,  that I have found Rams Trust welcoming, and far from being a closed shop, is actively encouraging more fans to get involved.

I think people get a bit too concerned about Rams Trust being the only official supporters Trust. That is a fact, it has a constitution,  it is registered with the Football Supporters Association, it has clear aims and objectives. For this reason it is understandable that they are often approached through official channels. However, Derby County themselves have always recognised that there are a number of ways that supporters views need to be heard and their Suppirters Charter recognises this and includes a range of representatives, both official groups and a few key individuals.

I joined on the back of your comments & have received email updates. I didn’t have an opinion one way or the other about the group but thought I’d give it a try

  3. Still self isolating with Covid so missing today’s match too ?

be interesting to hear any impact the weather has on play

COYR hoping for another win to keep the momentum going

I’m sure the team (some more than others & for different reasons) could have done without last night’s episode of the ongoing series, drama at Derby (rubbish title but hell I do have covid)

  4. I heard the Wycombe guy on radio Derby this morning.
seems like MM’s interview on Sunday hasn’t helped. (There’s a surprise).

Sorry for the lack of detail I stopped taking it in as it’s all too awful for words.

if we were Wycombe fans, we’d be saying the same. It’s one thing criticising teams who got promoted for breaching FFP but imagine being a relegated team & hearing our owner’s admissions about our breaches.

a Wigan fan was also on- a regular voice as he’s a presenter/journalist. He said their fans raised £800k (I’m sure it was that) & it made a lot of difference. I guess it depends on what their debt  was though & other factors as to how it all turned out & when their new  owners came on board

  5. I popped into the shop before Saturday’s match & bought some gloves as a Christmas present. £10 I wouldn’t have spent at the club’s shop  if it hadn’t been for this crisis.  Not a great amount but surely it’ll help.

I’ve donated £5 to the running of this forum too. Again a small amount but it must all help. Seems a small price to pay as I get a lot out of this forum even though I’m not a prolific poster. An overdue big thanks to those who run it. (Remember kindness is free & all that).

I can’t bear feeling helpless & agree with others about putting our energies into practical things which will do good.

For lots of reasons not everyone can go to away matches but there’s something most can do.

someone in another thread mentioned foodbanks. Don’t forget there’s already one organised by the club’s community arm, so if you have a spare tin of beans, drop it there!

I am already a season ticket holder btw.

What does it look like when you open the PDF up on your computer screen?

That’s a good question; I can’t remember. We printed it off in a hurry just before we left for the match. To be honest we didn’t notice!

it was only picked up when we couldn’t in using them but was sorted very quickly

I knew it couldn’t be that smooth

I did it all correctly received my email - I chose the print at home option - printed it off comes out perfect ( new ink cartridges ) but no the barcode/ QR code is printed instead a full black rectangle either side. Whilst I have emailed the ticket office for further instruction is their anything obvious I am missing?

This happened to us at the Man United friendly. A steward said it happened to a few people & we had to pop round to the window that sorts such things on match days  (sorry don’t know what it’s called). Wasn’t a problem at all though, very easily resolved

  8. Took mine at that age; as others have said, take plenty of snacks, water & something for them to play with too, it’s a long time for them  to sit still!

I love to see young ones at matches- shame about the foul  language.

my daughter was 7 ish when she unfortunately saw some Preston fans going by in a coach mooning. We were playing them at Preston in the playoffs the following weekend & I’d got us tickets. all week she kept asking if she could do that if we won (clearly I said no!). I’m not going to lie when I say I was slightly relieved that we lost that match!!

  9. I like to think I’m calm in a crisis, however, why do  I always find getting match tickets on our website stressful- even as a season ticket holder getting tickets for a friendly?

exactly the same experience as some others; in a queue for at least 20 minutes despite the screen saying I was  a minute away only to get kicked off & had to re start.

Took a minute or 2 to realise the payment lettering was in white & not easily visible against the background.

(It brought horrible memories back of trying to get tickets for wembley!!)

but so happy to get our 2 tickets, don’t care at all about having to wear a mask, or what team either club put out or, (controversially) the score

just so happy to be going back & watching our team in our stadium very close to our usual seats

  10. I’m clearly on another planet; I read the club’s statement & yeah,  it says what it can, but clearly there’s not much detail they can share at the minute, but I instantly felt a bit more connected again. The line about the lost £20m due to the pandemic really struck me. My daughter & I both said as soon as we read it that we’ll buy the new shirt as soon as it’s out!

I grew up near the Baseball Ground & could hear the crowd from our house. The club is in my blood & always will be so I’ll always do what I can to support its future as it’s our future too ?
