TF Ram reacted to Comrade 86 in Derby v Cambridge Match Thread
Are you having a go at posting in Medieval English?

TF Ram reacted to Day in Embleton needs surgery and has returned to Sunderland
Was watching Stick to Football episode 1 on YouTube today (The Overlap lot), Sancho was talked about and how his lack of smiling is perceived as having an attitude problem.
Tom Ince, Jacob Butterfield spring to mind.
Difficult one as I'm not a huge smiler, feel super awkward doing so, that's just me.
Some of these players will be the same, some will hate the media side and just want to play football.
Think we read into body language too much sometimes.
In terms of Embleton, as I recall it was last minute so a 4 hour drive down, medical, media, be a long day for someone that woke up not expecting to go through all that.

If winning the next 20 matches would result in despair, I suggest seeking therapy. We've won away from home, we've kept a clean sheet and Collins has shown that Waggy is not the only striker in form at the club. The performance wasn't great I concede, but your relentless melodramatics are starting to wear very thin.

I couldn’t tell you about any NDA’s or anything like that (because I don’t know about any) but I can tell you that I spoke to Stephen for about ten minutes, about an hour before the event. I had a similar chat with Paul earlier in the day. It was more to make sure they understood the timings and format. So there certainly wasn’t any rehearsing between us.
Personally my prep was about as limited as it gets, given that the format was primarily questions from the floor, plus the handful we had in advance. I started with a couple from me just to get things going - in my experience it can take an audience a while to warm up, and I wanted it to start with a bit of momentum.
Hope that helps.

Well this conversation has just taken a turn for the worse 🫤
How do we know that Stephen Pearce wasn't waking up every morning scratching his head figuring out how to deal with the latest MM mad decision? Do we know if Pearce had any forewarning re. administration or did MM make that decision himself and surprise everyone, Pearce included? Did David Clowes see enough in Pearce working tirelessly to save the club during the administration period? And has Clowes, an accomplished businessman himself seen enough of Pearce during his 1yr+ time at the club to view Pearce an asset? I have no idea tbh, but the truth as is typically the case, probably lies somewhere in the middle.
I trust David Clowes and the people now running the club however, we're back on an even financial keel and our reputation with the EFL has improved, if they think Stephen Pearce is doing a good job, I'll trust their judgement over some internet forum noise.
Roll on Saturday, its been a long 2 weeks on here.

I’m loathe to wade in to this thread *but* I would suggest anyone who wasn’t there last night waits to form an opinion until they have seen/heard the answers for themselves, rather than basing their view on a Twitter thread.
I think the plan is for the footage to be released tonight.

Ridiculous that once again certain people who didn't attend the forum are already criticising aspects of what was "said" before they've even had the chance to watch the forum themselves.

You think people demand elite level football? After watching Warneball for 11 months, I crave for the days of Rowettball, never mind what we had under Mac. I firmly stand by my belief that Rosenior would have eventually got us playing a lot closer to Mac than where we were when he left.

TF Ram reacted to Big Trav in Summer Rumour Mill
I would like to say I’ve proven myself to be pretty spot on a lot of times this summer. It’s your choice to listen or not but all these snarky comments that I’m receiving are not really needed when all I’m doing is passing on information that I’m told.

Personally, I'd miss Collo.
He makes it so much easier to believe that I too could pull on the shirt at first team level.

Love how the usual moaners and anti warners are straight out the minute we concede … never mind were winning away from home at a ground we rarely get anything from
haters have to hate
