  1. I keep saying that parachute payments should continue but there should be a handicapped points deduction around 16 points to make automatic promotion a less distinct probability. That way they can pay their bills but can’t almost guarantee  promotion

  2. I do think we reached a stage where we stop using Morrison as a starter because when I look at it he can’t last longer than 60 mins even when he is involved whilst he isn’t actually contributing anything for a very long time. I tend to think that we would gain more by playing one of the youngsters in that position especially sibley

  3. That’s  what happens when you have lots centre forwards to choose from in comparison we do not have any centre forwards to choose from because we haven’t been allowed to have any - Baldock isn’t a goal scorer and is always injured whilst CKR is a converted old winger who has given us more than we could have expected. Unfortunately the EFL won’t allow us to play any of the young forwards to help out, there is nothing  about fairness in existence in our circumstance.

Dived in two footed because one of our lads had the temerity to take the ball off him, remonstrated with the ref and then trudged off like billy jumbo nads. Silly and a tad disrespectful to the club and guys he used to play alongside.

All true but he also scored a hat trick which is a more relevant thing from our point of view

It's a good question. The lads in MF have been playing well recently but I guess the like for like (or closest to it) would be Shinnie. Really impressed with the young'un and Knight has been very good since Wazza snapped him in two.

I wouldn’t be dropping Shinnie as he gives us so much of what we need in midfield- the last time he was missing was Barnsley away was it ? Missed dreadfully

  6. Altough I have a season ticket I won’t be there as I will be on day 7 of self isolation due to catching Covid - I hope it’s. Great performance by the Rams again, I also had to miss Fulham away. ?

I am not complaining and if and when I was going to catch covid I am pleased it’s after I have had my 3 vaccines !

Makes me laugh when players like Harry don't take free kicks from that position. Have Fulham got better strikers of a dead ball than him?

Maybe he didn’t want to score against Derby county knowing that fulham will get automatic promotion anyway

As it stands, as long as we get a new owner sorted and are out of administration by the start of Feb at the latest, we'll be fine.

As already mentioned, we can't spend money on transfer fees and loans regardless. There might be a few new freebies knocking around after the transfer window ends with players who didn't get a move by the transfer deadline cancelling their contracts to get a move. It'd still be nice to find a striker...

I can’t imagine any player cancelling his contract to get a move at the end of January unless what we offer is a pay rise - unlikely I would say

Is 20 year old Pride Park fair value at an estimated cost of 50 million, and that wouldn't include the training ground which I understand isn't owned by Mm.

In comparison, Chestfield built a new 10500 seater stadium in 2019 for 13 million.

So an estimate of say 40 million to build a 30000 seater stadium? If that was an option.

Equally, if an option Derby could build a 20000 seater stadium for a lot less.

I read that mm is owed 125 million, Maguire says who would by the club in League One with 56 million owed to creditors, plus 125 million owed to mm, even if mm accepted 25% of that plus the 50 million for the ground.

Could Derby potentially rent a ground share with Notts county. Notts is 20000 seats.

If in league one, would Derby get 25000 plus crowds every week.

Renting Notts County ground would be cheaper than buying back the ground.

Not that happy to consider paying mm millions after what's happened to the club.

We are getting league one crowds now in my humble opinion post initial pandemic

IMHO I think it will be hellishly difficult to get new players into the club in January, new owners or not, which is why I queried your comment as I can see outgoings though.

It will be difficult unless we get generous help from a premiership big boy for example Man City might go, Liam Delap will get good game time in a competitive team trying to play football at a place he knows with no travel difficulties for him, and allow us just to pay a peppercorn wage.

I could see Belick Jozwiak and Marshall all leaving potentially in January with Rooney’s blessing whilst Lawrence might with a decent bid as well.
