With the game only 6 weeks away I was wondering what peoples opinions are regarding buying tickets.

Should we try and sell out and back the team and also voice our disapproval of Gibson or should we boycott the game as a protest.
I enjoy going to Boro as I usually visit Whitby/Scarborough at the same time but at the moment I don’t feel like giving Gibson any money.

Boycott - he’s not having my money

Can see him going to Millwall. He knows Rowett and performed well against them. Is wasted and not wanted here. 1.5 rising to 2m maybe? Will shine somewhere else.

Millwall don’t have that kind of money in fact probably no championship club will have in this window as it stands without money coming from a premiership club - Sibley chance will come for th3 Rams but he needs to take it

  3. Well it would be interesting in court when we explain what we did, in that it was legal and accepted and within the actual rules at the time. The fact that the administrators have now accepted a points deduction does not say that we broke the actual rules - see you in court Middlesbrough FC - in terms of Wycombe what a bunch of opportunistic hypocrites - maybe Peterborough should be seeing them as they were in sixth place when Wycombe got promoted from eighth place!

  4. First time I saw Plange, he didn’t seem to know what he was supposed to be doing so he has a lot to learn like challenging the centre half’s, knocking them off balance and basically irritating them rather than watching them easily head the ball away - watch videos of Paul Dikov and David Speedie for guidance

I'm firmly in the glass half empty and just shattered camp, but even I know that 4 of the last 4 and a half days have been bank Holidays.

Without a shadow of a doubt, an announcement will be made today, tomorrow or Friday.

If we receive yet another delay message then things are about to go south.

Just because your calendar has run out doesn’t mean everybody’s has

  6. Worth noting that the accountant owner has allowed Bristol city to lose £412,000 per week for ten years ! - so he maybe isn’t that clever?
worth noting that he also borrowed the covid loan that we were denied - I suppose he will have to pay that back at some point !
I wonder when the EFL will stop owners writing off loans into shares because isn’t that just manipulating the guidelines?
I don’t think they know that Chris Martin holds the option of another years contact yet which I am sure he will take to maintain his salary.
a few thoughts to share even for the Bristol followers

  7. We have earned a heck of a lot of plaudits on the field from independent supporters with respect of having a tiny squad of youngsters and football pensioners with the reality that they are keeping the effort up in fact a dam sight more than most players at most clubs, with our supporters backing and keeping the effort going.

Well tomorrow when we play WBA I think if we can get a win and with most of games postpone because of cov19. If we can get those 3 points and win again against stoke on thursday and when against Sheffield untied we stand massive chance getting us our selfs out of this mess.

It’s the championship and we can beat and lose to anyone yet a draw against WBA is a very decent result - we need wins for sure but we need to beat the poorer teams for a change as well but a positive takeover is more relevant

Think the DET did an article suggesting CKR will be going potentially in Jan if that’s right and Tom goes to Stoke (?) plus we don’t renew Baldock it would great to see Rooney get Elanga on loan from Man Utd …in a dream world we would also get Delap from Man City (I believe Pep to be one of the most selfish and ruthless people in football so doubt he’d see it as a great opportunity to do a good thing for someone else and/or wider football) if not maybe Stevie G can lend his mate Keenan Davies.
with two of these I’d be confident we could give it a go (as long as they didn’t ask for loan fees). The three players we’d sell/release would save approx 45-50k in wages which we could use to contribute to the wages for the incoming players

    we live in hope

With covid being a major thing again and fixture pile ups likely and premiership clubs allowed 7 premiership subs and 9 in Europe I would be very surprised if hardly any players are allowed out of the premiership clubs
