Fora fan yes, but for a creditor, no!
we still don’t know what (or if) any deal with HMRC says. It could include a provision that the club make every effort to repay as much as possible through the sale of assets, and the clubs only tangible assets are…Sell the printer sell the lawnmower but you can’t force a human being to sign for another club if they don’t want to

It’s a team game but the lions are leading the enthusiastic lambs with utter professionalism with Club and on the real pitch captain Curtis Davies showing everything.
the best bit is that they are decently paid but they are not doing this for the money it’s because they love playing football and they want to help and that is one of best aspects we are watching every week. It’s also another reason the football world are getting behind our truly fantastic effort. It might be another subconscious reason why we seem to be getting some less harsher 50/50 decisions compared to the last two seasons currently.

The delays, if they are delays, though are creating a problem for the Administrators. Let’s say offers are tabled by a few clubs this month for Bird, Thompson, Knight and Buchanan. I can imagine a few premiership clubs are sniffing. Firm offers on the table have to be considered by the Administrators, and it becomes their judgment call. Their prime responsibility is the creditors not unfortunately the football club.
You still can’t force a player to sign for another club - wouldn’t it be lovely to hear them saying that if it was tried and they didn’t want to, I mean would you want to sign for Blackpool for £100,000 or Preston for £80,0000

Quite amusing to see Newcastle owners so desperate to splash their cash, but no decent footballer really interested in going there. Trippier for £25m seems possible now, but for all the back page gossip I wonder what over-priced dross they may end up with come the end of January?
Lawrence is available for £15 million

Thanks
All I want for my birthday presents are:
1. Successful takeover compete in the next 2 to 3 weeks
2. Rams avoid relegation this season
3. Keep the players we currently have for at least a couple more years
4. Gibson and the Wycombe winker fail in their scavenging and get some bad karma in return
5 Oh and my premium bonds give me a big win
Not much to ask for surely?
Very reasonable but you are behind me in the queue for number 5 ?

I think Rooney basically expected more from Whittaker in that game where he subbed him as a sub saying it was Rooney’s fault for putting him on the pitch - basically he expected more from him and was rather disappointed - Whittaker now has a challenge on to be a footballer in the professional game in my opinion - obvious that Holmes was the other one ! Whilst Marriott was basically gone anyway at Sheffield Wednesday then out of contract

We never looked like scoring today and Reading never should have - but the goalkeeper making a mistake helped and what a goal from Davies - proud again
I actually thought the ref had a good game despite a couple of things that went against us but he ignored the reading play acting mainly

I’ll say it again- these lads have got some Bottle

Last 20mins are key for Derby, Reading will gas out. Can we get a leveller before then to perhaps get the 3 points ?
Ask Colin........
Wayne ? Whens our talisman coming on ?!?!
I suspect their right back will go off as a concussion sub after the three other subs about an hour late

It wasn't a worldie. Decent yes.
It was poor defending and then how could you not shoot for the top corner with all that space?
Not unstoppable but difficult to stop credit to them on that one - wewould be happy doing that

Agreed Mostyn.
If we have goal threats in front of us then you can play him but we don’t. Bird and Joz you’ll be luck for three a season. So playing Thompson means that’s three of your front six where we are very unlikely to see a goal. It puts too much pressure on the others.
Only his sixth start but not a goal scorer which is obvious

I would like Curtis to man mark Carroll. He has won 2 important headers with Davis no where near. He needs roughing up a bit. Sure we can score from a corner.
Their keeper doesn’t look comfortable at the corners

Reading are probably the worse side i have seen all season, I’m confident we will still win this.
Really

Reading are obviously a better side than their league position as we are
we need to be taking on more shots on goal basically - and score a few

The EFL can stop the proposed dispute with Middlesbrough and Wycombe stone dead
option one - the EFL admit Derby broke no rules at the time and return the 9 points - Middlesbrough and Wycombe claim is stone dead
option two - the EFL inform that if they continue should thy believe that ultimately they are to be promoted that they will not be allowed and another teams will be put forward for promotion - I would suspect Middlesbrough and Wycombe would drop their arguments quickly
option three - allocate the same officials and same decisions we were given last season

Gibson knows we don’t have the money to go to court. Once barristers get involved , the costs will go through the roof. The Bosman case went on for years and the lawyers got fat. His strategy is clear- Hold up the sale for as long as possible. Wycombe are just along for the ride.
I would hope none of our fans slip/trip/fall when at Middlesbrough and end up having to be taking legal action

Who would you let leave?

Marshall - obviously
Baldock - basically because he doesn’t look like he is ever fit or able to score
Hutchinson - probably on loan
no one else to be honest
stupidly large bids obviously considered
worth noting that Rangers just sold a 20 year old reserve right back for up to £16 million to Everton - I am sorry but the standard in Scotland doesn’t suggest that cost even if he has played for Scotland!
