Roos - poor mistake but we have to play that way for a reason
Ebosele - hesitant start but got better and better
Jagielka - does what he does
Davies - does what he does
Buchanan - some great crosses
Shinnie - gritty as you expect won a penalty as well
Bird - effective
Thompson - excellent debut - did he give the ball away?
knight - usual Duracell batteries performance with a goallawrence - I was just saying that he hasn’t been involved then a great goal and an actual penalty
Baldock - you would take him back to the shop as he is defective in fitness terms
subs -
richards - did ok
stearman - nice for him to get some game time
Forsyth - n/a
great effort for the fans from the players and all we ask is to work hard
Bournmouth - play it wide to quick wide men and deliver and apart from that they didn’t like our little players running around in between their legs.
nice to get 3 points- Orphanram, Kathcairns and jono

Having a game of football really gets in the way of our season doesn’t it !

Well we can definitely approach every fixture in a completely abnormal way - the opposition won’t know what’s happening!

£4,800 to The EFL!
They can go swivel! ?Don’t they owe us £100,000

The EFL stopped us from having a goal scorer for two seasons pretty much and especially this season we can’t stay up because we don’t score goals frequently enough even though I have totally enjoyed this season so far.
what do we have left 29 dead rubbers so who can we irritate !
we won’t be relegated on the pitch that much I am certain off. -
This is pathetic - regardless of recent times the man had done a lot of good for the city

Body language and price tags are so important in peoples' perception of players but it can often lead to false impressions. The best way to judge a player's ability is on appearances, whether multiple managers play them, who is interested in them when they might leave, and what other players say about them. Tom is generally first choice under God knows how many managers he has played under and there is a lot of clubs sniffing around him now. Making him captain seemingly makes little sense, yet the spirit of the team has been the best I've seen it for several years. Now this may be a coincidence, but if Davies/Shinnie/Jagielka were captain we would be lauding their leadership skills.
Steve McManaman had terrible body language and was widely disliked when playing for England yet he is one of few British players that were very successful abroad in the past 30 years. Probably our second best export in that time behind Gareth Bale.
Chris waddle was decent abroad

It’s not his fault we pay him so much money
I would have sold him two years ago

Rams Trust asked the EFL why they were allowing this at their previous meeting and this was their response:
It is an unfortunate reality that commercial disputes can and do arise, and football is no different. The EFL (in common with the FA and the Premier League) provides that any disputes between Member Clubs must be resolved by arbitration and the terms of the arbitration are as set out in our regulations. This does not mean the EFL is determining the outcome – all we provide is a framework. Arbitrations between Clubs are resolved by independent panels formed from specialist solicitors/barristers with experience in the relevant sector from a list maintained by Sports Resolutions. Each party can present their cases as they see fit and judgments will be issued. Any proceedings will remain private and confidential. It will be for the Administrators to conduct any defence of any claims brought against the Club. The EFL is not able to comment on any particular matter as we are not party to any such proceedings.
Sounds like a cop out to me!
Green light to sue QPR then

I hope Rooney wants to take us on in league one as he knows what we have and need.
I expect Marshall gone and hopefully in January
jagelka has been brilliant and if he wanted to stay he should and he could be very useful in league one as he is fit enough
Baldock might be ok in league one
Byrne may well be sold in January
lawrence definitely should be sold in January ( two years to late)
Belick and Jozwiak should be sold in January or the summer at the latest
I wouldn’t keep Richards into next season
i am not sure Davies will want to carry on next season
Forsyth would stay I think if we wanted him and we should want him
Shinnie - we would need his type next season
Knight is a great player but his agent will be telling him to leave as might Buchanan and bird - I would be happy if we kept them
i don’t want to bring in anyone unless we intend to sign them in the summer and I mean centre forwards basically

If other clubs can sweep up our youngsters for next to nothing and our first team youngsters contracts have been forcefully (EFL) had their contacts run down and can walk away or for a pittance then the major and very important question has to be How can a league one club have a grade one academy that costs £6 million a year to run? - surely we should shut it down? Yes it seems very sad but we are just linking the pockets of others.

The Daily Heil are reporting that Reading are set to be given a 6 point penalty, with further 6 suspended.
That would be consistent with teams being four times worse that us getting a far less of a punishment

I know...let's just stop the football and replace it with a competition where all teams compete in a "legal league" with the objective of all Clubs take it in turns to sue. Same points...3 for a "win", etc and play-offs where those reaching the "final" get to Sue at the Old Bailey, the Wembley of "courts" or Lincoln's Inn or wherever.
Well it’s definitely a board game !

Derby could sue other clubs but there’s no one in charge of Derby to do this. Maybe administrators wouldn’t want a long drawn out process doing this. In theory though surely clubs can sue each other even though it should surely be the EFL facing any action. Middlesbrough’s claim seems ridiculous but imagine if they win?
We could use the EFL expert witness in court ?

So can we sue Reading for the lost 6 points last season due to their massive overspending then ?
can we sue Birmingham for the points they gained by being over spent then? In that seasonwe know QPR completely destroyed the regulations when we lost in the play off final so obviously we can destroy them as well
there is no point mentioning Aston Villa as they haven’t been charged with anything
Middlesbrough - What a joke - if they were good enough they would have got more points to lose against leeds
Maybe we should not have bothered to get a draw in that game at Brighton which allowed Middlesbrough to get automatic promotion a few seasons ago. - on current behaviours you would seriously rest a lot of players to affect other clubs fortunes then again maybe that’s exactly what has been happening?

Like it or not, the administrators are the people currently in charge of running DCFC day to day. They are the people that get to make decisions for the club. Not denying the whole thing stinks, but we are where we are.
Yep I fully understand that and again the truth of everything will never get heard in public. I accept our over spending on mediocre players and I frequently commentated on it but the behaviour and actions of the EFL will get hidden away again

With the various points deductions now confirmed, and those deductions in turn all but confirming relegation, the ins and outs of the squad and back room staff becomes the main (only?) “interesting” conversation to be had for the remainder of the season. What a sad situation to be in, that we’ve effectively lost over half a season of competitive football.
Don’t get me wrong- I am sure all the fans will be in full voice at the games, and we’ll still want to see good football and positive results in the face of adversity. But ultimately it all becomes a bit futile. Is this a sneak peek into what the Super League would have been like, or American sports? Once you’re out the running to win the league/make the playoffs/avoid relegation, you’re coasting into the end of the season.
When it’s all irrelevant it’s just about how many shirts you can sell or maybe a key ring or two.

A plea-bargain is exactly what it was. Both sides agree on the punishment, get independent sign-off on it, and then move on. Either side could have refused the agreed decision, in which case it would have gone through the formal charging process, with DCs, LAPs and so on. Presumably both sides wanted to avoid another lengthy process on top of the one we've had already.
It’s not really anybody to do with Derby county football club agreeing with this it’s the administrators doing it to sell the club under duress like a forced confession before hanging

No. We have exceeded the limits of FFP, so we have broke the rules.
But we haven’t been charged so the full facts never get heard - no wonder people lose trust in any system

As long as we do not pay any fees or compensation , we can sign pre agreements, and as long as we do pay over the total club wage bill limit, to avoid another -3 points this season, yes.
So if we want to sign someone from another clubs junior ranks we can’t because we would have to pay a fee because they came through an academy?

I asked the value of paying £6 million a year academy costs if the youngsters get stolen by other clubs - let me be clear I don’t want them sold cheap or stolen for next to nothing
