It Bogles the mind that some of these don't get a look in for the seniors.
That George Thorne looks like a classy player. Where did he come from?

Really nice second goal. Lovely one and two touch football in the build up with players not afraid to receive the ball in tight situations. That's what I like to see, not random hoofs up front.

That was my first season as a season ticket holder.
Not sure I realised until Clough was in charge that the aim of the game was to actually win matches.

Definitely on par with the first season.  I just hope they leave Will alone now, that kids really had it tough the past couple of years...

Just finished watching Stranger Things about 6 months too late.
    WOW! What a show!
I haven't had a show bore it's way into my mind like this one. Had to force myself to turn off at number four and go to bed. Really liked that it was basically three different genres in one show. It's a phsycological thriller for the Sheriff, a horror for the kids and a romance for the teenagers.
Superb performances by the entire cast, and in particular that little girl who has a way of saying so much with just her eyes. Absolutely spot-on casting.
    Loved the soundtrack, as well.
So excited to see there's going to be a second season. The advantage of getting round to watching it so late is that I don't have to wait as long as everyone else will for it.

You said yourself that Hughes is a different type of player so there's no point comparing them on goals scored.
It's not is it, but Lawrence isn't really contributing much in terms of assists or penetrative play.
If you aren't scoring goals you have to contribute in other ways and Lawrence isn't doing that at the moment. Not to say he won't improve though.

Every player gets berated by Derby fans, it doesn't mean they are all of similar quality. Ince also had to contend with having an unfair reputation for not working hard and father who everyone hates.
I think the stats speak for themselves about quality.
    Tom Ince: 25 years old - 272 apperences 75 goals. That's a goal every 3.6 games.
    Tom Lawrence: 23 years old - 123 appearences 19 goals. That's a goal every 6.5 games.
There's nothing wrong with him not being up to the standard of Ince and Hughes. They were outstanding Championship players.
I fail to see the evidence for people suggesting he's up to their standard.

Unlucky or wasteful? It's a fine line.
We will see. I'm never confident of anything happening at Derby County. I hope he is a success. I would hate for us to have spent £5 million on another player incapable of kicking Johnny Russell out the team.

If he was missing training sessions to play Futsal then it's no surprise he was dropped.
I would imagine at training sessions you go over things like tactics and work on partnerships on the pitch. If you are missing these sessions to do an extra-curricular activity you shouldn't be surprised if you are dropped for those who do turn up to every session.
Think about what that would do to team morale. You turn up to every training session and then get dropped on game day for someone who only turns up for matches.
If I was a coach I wouldn't let it fly, and if I was a teammate of his I'd wonder what the hell was going on and why my place was being taken by someone who clearly doesn't share the same commitment that I do.

Surely no one can say with a straight face that Richard Keogh shouldn't be a starter for ROI. I refuse to believe that Clark is better than him.

I sometimes drive to Edgware you can park next to the station for free at weekends. Not sure how much the underground costs as its in zone 5.

Driving in isn't much of a problem. I take the north circular then along the A4 to Fulham Palace Road find some free street parking and walk to the ground. You can walk along the Thames then up to the Crabtree for a pint. It's cheaper than having to catch the underground. If you're going into central London I'd try and get a bit closer than Stanmore because your ticket will cover less zones.
