But, unless I’m missing something, there is absolutely nothing new in this article. If Wycombe and Middlesbrough were to win then we’re really in the poo and a very dangerous precedent will have been set. As someone else said, NSS.

Agree with the Rooney thing - I don't know how public this is but if the likes of Neville & Co raise it, they'd do so in a "neutral" way that a lot of the opposition fans won't (who just think we deserve everything we get).  Boro' and Wycombe have taken massive advantage of the fact we're in administration and are therefore desperate to clear the slate.  These cases have zero merit and the precedence they'd set needs to be made known by the likes of Neville.
@AGR You could post a request on Neville or Rio's Twitter feeds?

The sad fact is someone always makes money out of other's miss-fortune.  Dr Hilary has indeed popped up more regularly as the TV doctor - whether he's profited I have no idea - I would assume yes if he's paid by appearance rather than salaried, but I personally ignore what he has to say - he's a GP not a COVID expert.
As for the Pharmas - well if you look at a recent Forbes list, they have indeed made an absolute fortune out of this, and continue to do so. See https://www.forbes.com/sites/giacomotognini/2021/04/06/meet-the-40-new-billionaires-who-got-rich-fighting-covid-19/ as an example.
To fuel anyone's conspiracy theory around China, then a large proportion of those on the Forbes list are Chinese, or of Chinese descent. A BBC study of projected global millionaires also seems to indicate China are by far the highest projected producer of millionaires over the next few years. By a long way. I even commented to my kids this week on the irony of all the Lateral Flow Tests are coming from China.   As a balance, there are of course a lot of other people making money out of this and will do so for some time to come.  I bet all the sellers of face masks were rubbing their hands in glee when Boris advised everyone had to again wear a mask in shops, public transport and schools.
Same can be said of the petro-chemical industry, blaming covid for the high prices (reduced production then surge in demand, lorry driver shortage etc). Prices are as high as they've ever been, meaning suppliers (retailer and oil companies) are raking it in.  If the oil price rises then so do prices at the pump - daily.  But oil has fallen by over $10 a barrel, yet no-one is reducing prices.  According to the RAC, retailers made approx. £0.06 profit on a litre pre COVID.  Right now, they're making around £0.19 profit.

Unfortunately Rio and Neville's accounts don't have access for me to send them messages and if I just tweeted them I doubt they'd see it. I'm going to send a message to Chris Coles who has replied to me in the past about some trivial things and see if he'll mention it to Rooney or speak about it to someone at the BBC. I know its a long shot and clutching at straws a bit but I'm seriously concerned about the state of the club.

I'm a great believer in everything happens for a reason and that life will balance out.  Derby has been stagnating, and, to all intents and purposes heading downhill for quite some time now.  How long has it been said we're a PL club etc etc but well over a decade later here we remain.  Administration is, I genuinely believe, life's way of saying enough is enough, re-set, go again.  As worrying and painful as it all is, I'm taking this as a huge opportunity to make us great again.  Even if we do end up in L1 for a season (or two).  That's one reason I quite like the look of CK.  He's different - we need different. To me, he represents a completely fresh start.  He seems to believe in us.  Rooney believes in us.  So I do too.

Re the 'City' vs 'AFC' argument. If we were to be called Derby City then I reckon you'd quickly have commentators saying 'And City got back into it when..' or 'City fell behind when..' which would just be weird to get used to. Go with AFC and what happens is everyone just drops the AFC bit and would just say 'Derby'. IMHO of course...
Anyway, it's not over yet B4, chin up mate there's still people fighting to save our club. Some of us have been here before when all seemed hopeless and we managed to survive somehow so hopefully a way can be found with a bit of flexibility and pragmatism on all sides.
We're not looking to just wipe out the debt and storm back into the top flight waving two fingers at people, we're just trying to find a way that our club can continue to operate, hopefully no lower than League 1. Some kind of deal is going to have to be struck with HMRC if this is to happen though but as long as all parties are still talking there is always hope.
Re other teams fans, it looks to me that a certain vocal section of fans want blood but there are also many messages in amongst that even from Bristol City and Boro messageboards that can see that (as always) it is the fans that get the shi**y end of the stick and many (even most) just seem to want to see us take our medicine for a bit not cease to exist entirely.

Agree.  In what is always a really tough league, with several teams thriving on their parachute payments and the nucleus of Premier League standard players, that with a squad of babies and OAPs we're a solid mid table team.  This does say a lot really about this team.
