Absolutely. That ^. 48 hours is a long time in football. It’s tremendous that we’ve attracted 12 signings given where we were 2 weeks ago. If it wasn’t for DC, we’d still be in Admin, and the scrap merchants would be parking their vans in MM’s space outside the front entrance and kicking the Dave McKay statue to assess its scrap value. Seriously. 
Suddenly expectations are ramping up - & there’s the danger. What we need to do is ask what has seen us suddenly attract new life blood and realise it’s the collective unity & positivity and when we’re 0-2 down to OUFC at half-time, re-surface that collective spirit that made the football world think “wow - why the positivity in the midst of melt-down?!”. 
 
The answer is unconditional support. Let’s keep that lesson alive. Remember the calls for invading the pitch? Trashing Middlesbrough? Setting fire to EFL HQ in Preston? Utterly futile and negative. Collective positive support will build belief. Not high expectations followed by disapproval if we don’t achieve it in 10 games.

Yes to all of that. I found it particularly tough to deal with as the timing mirrored my dads sudden decline with dementia. The day we went into admin was the first "come now please" urgent call from my mum. Derby was mine and dad's thing together and unbelievably bad Derby news usually coincided with bad dementia days. Dad is now stable, settled and as happy as he will be in lovely residential care right near us and he still loves to chat Derby although often muddled. He has told the care staff some horrendous tall stories about it all! Attendance obviously reduced a lot last year in the circumstances (hence my total annoyance at those making comments about part-time fans - just count your blessings you can attend when you want) but was so happy to get season tickets on the first day of sale. Really excited about the season ahead.

Dont really get this generally for family or professional reasons. The new family home seems to be finally done, the boys seem settled in schools and football academies, extended family close enough and they seem to have a good group of friends - raising 4 kids away from that seemed tough for them before based on what they have stated publicly. Then when he left Wayne said he would be building on his football coaching knowledge as well as getting his badges finalised. This move career wise seems really odd too.  There's something we are not aware of and possibly will never be aware of but otherwise it doesnt make any sense. Probably bit like this post. 
By the way loved what Wayne did here last season (and the rest of the team behind the scenes) but freedom of city seemed ridiculous before and seems more so now he's cleared off
