They're all winnable, but some of them (like tomorrow night, for example) are certainly at the tougher end of the scale. Keeping the undefeated run intact would be a start.

As the saying goes “one game at a time”. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves and risk disappointment if we fail to achieve these bold hopes.

Wasnt too keen on Warne's appointment, liked Liam but not a fan of the endless passing around across the back and thought club PR overly highlighted Paul's personality at the start probably to his detriment with fans like me who found it tedious. Saying Warne favours hoofball is unfair - he obviously wants fast passing moves up pitch but we dont have the players to always do that but when it does work it is great to see.  Little while in I really like him and his team and where we are trying to go as a club. What they have done with rag-tag defensive options during injury period is excellent.  must be so difficult with the ?MM left behind particularly regarding player contract positions under the restrictions etc but we're trying to build nicely and happy with season so far. So much so debut for new bobble hat v Cambridge ??

Three threads on the same subject is never enough, when the subject is Chris Martin.
I don't care if he comes back or not, but I'd love to see a lot more separate threads on it.  ?

Today we beat a very good side in this division with one of our best and most important player missing. I like what I am seeing. Lets hope injuries and  suspension dont disrupt anything and with the form we are in, we may not overstay our welcome in L1.

A very good performance again today we are no longer a 45 minute team, even with inevitable periods being under pressure there is no drop in effort or application and some of the passing and movement in attack was excellent.
The atmosphere was also great, the away fans were the loudest I’ve heard for a long time but the whole ground responded. It’s a tough ask but we can make top 2 if we keep this going. UTR

I loved it today, absolutely loved it. A near-full house, an opposition team and its fans fully fired up, but we put them back in their box just like we used to when Todd, McFarland, Gemmill and co. strutted their stuff and King Kevin danced over the mud. We never looked like losing. This was a real statement performance where even a corrupt/bungling oaf of a referee and his accomplices couldn't change the result.
Isn't it great to be a Derby fan again?

Its amazing how after  match we have the choice to talk about all the good stuff, or moan about the poor play, or who has let us down. Today we didn't have that choice. There is absolutely nothing to complain about from a derby point of view. And yes, like many I was worried by the team selection, enforced as it was, but it turned out to be "nay worries", as they say in Scotland.
Roberts is a good option to have at right back, and Curtis was safe enough, in part because of the lack of pace up front from Bolton. I know they have lost a couple of important players up front, but I don't think pace is their game. Their tactics were to lump it to the big man, or into the channels, and it didn't work. An important factor in this was our pressing, which I don't think I have seen as effectively employed before, especially as we kept it up all match. Thank you Jason knight for making it possible, and the new fitness regime!
A couple of times I had to wonder how Bolton managed to be in 5th place because they didn't really perform. The nearest to an attempt on goal in the first half was a cross that bobbled through to Wildsmith, and their only shots on target were at 56  minutes, 73 minutes and the goal, which should have been a goal kick. But they didn't perform because we didn't let them! And we have done that many times this season, particularly since Mr Warne took up residence.
NML had his defender on toast all match long, Max Bird has stepped up a gear, and our longing for him to toughen up was answered in only the 2nd minute when he bullied a Bolton player off the ball near the corner flag. And his pass to set up the second goal was an absolute peach. I've already mentioned Knighty, and it is good to see Hourihane, who was my least favourite  putting himself about with a bit of passion - I don't know what happened, but he has been a different player since he came back from injury. I don't think there is player who can be singled out for playing badly - yet again. And it is getting to what it was like for Mac 1, and indeed the days of Brian Clough and then Dave Mackay, when we didn't wonder if we could win or draw, but how may we were gong to win by!
Today was a great football match, and I went absolutely bonkers berserk for both the goals - something I haven't done for years, because they were two tremendous goals. I was supposed to walk back to the car after the match, but got there without knowing how - almost as though I had floated all the way back! What a feeling!

I confess I was nervous before the game. They had been on a good run, had a tight defence and, bar the shouting our equals in the ranking stakes. Then you know they have skilled bruisers in attack, Cash injured and Curtis not match sharp. It was going to be tough. A real test.
I was wrong. By dint of 100% effort and faultless concentration we walked it. Oh yes they gave us a game and one slip could have cost us but we didn’t slip, or if we did they weren’t good enough to capitalise or we had the fire to put it right. It was a very entertaining game of footy. A brief period of head tennis in the second half and some nervy moments but we were a well oiled machine.

I like Warne Ball. Pacy wide men crossing the ball, A raider for a 10 in Knighty. String pullers like Bird and Connor and gutsy defenders.
As for them, Big front man looked scary but never cleared his carburettors because we stopped him and their 10 who was a real worker, ran his goodies off all game. Their 15 was a diving, tugging mardy thug. They had (past tense ) a tight defence .. why ? Barks and NML had their wing backs on toast. They looked cumbersome to me.

We played as a team, the spirit and camaraderie is there for all to see. We earned those points big time.
And then there’s that man Knight. Pure 24 ct Gold. If you could launch a battery company that had Knight Power, Tesla and Duracell would be out of business in the blink of an eye.

I do wonder if PW had been our manager last season we might have stayed in the Championship. PW does have the ability to wring out the very last drop of performance from his players, he has made us into such a resilient side ???

Just a quick mention for Wildsmith and how he treats the ball boys during the game.  Told them today to slow down giving him the ball back, then gave them a fist bump to say thanks.  Class act.

From the outside it doesn't seem plausible that during all the time Pearce worked under Mr Morris that he wasn't complicit in the financial mess. However, Mr Clowes appears to be a decent person running the club on an ethical basis, so it's only right to trust his judgement.

He’s a qualified accountant so I don’t think he can be absolved of blame given that our accounts were flawed.

That said as I said many times, EFl made a mountain out of a molehill. I don’t believe that we broke any rules other than maybe making the disclosure of the method as clear as it could have been.
