I did say slowly. Give him a couple of years 🤣
Slowly?? FL has turbo charged his managerial career into oblivion. He'll be on the panel on Loose women if the lovely Christine allows him

If you like football and history you can go and watch Sheffield FC. The oldest football team in the world. They actually play in Dronfield just outside Sheffield (30 mins by train from Derby then probably a short bus ride). Only 2 teams have got the FIFA medal of merit, Real Madrid and Sheffield FC.
And if you are making the long trip from SK to the the UK, you've got to include London, one of the great cities of the world. Chances are you'll land there I guess. Fastest trains around 90mins.
Have a great trip.

Sure do now that you've reminded me.
A mini bus of us climbed aboard and off to south Wales we go, Got to the outskirts of Newport and asked a young lad where's the football ground...a quick reply was...phuck you, He recognised our English accents...foolish and brave, We mooched on parked up and went for a few beers.
Get into the ground watch an unassuming game, Get on the bus to drive to Worcester, Word started to filter through that there was an incident at Bradford...nothing of note at the time, By the time we'd got back on the bus a few hours later we'd heard there was some deaths following a fire.
Get home and to bed, Next morning I turn the TV on to see all and sundry, I remember an old fella walking across the pitch with his hair on fire, Sat there in shock...tears rolling down my face...a sad sad day 🥲
I remember many years ago going on a health and safety course ran bya retired fireman. He was on duty that day and told the story of somebody some distance away from the stand but the combination of intense heat with hair products their head just suddenly caught fire. Sad day indeed.

I didn’t know this was a thing, but @EtoileSportiveDeDerby mentioned it too. Thanks both. Will try it. Does this mean they go off if not refrigerated? How bizarre.
A few years back on this very foruome people debated the virtues of putting crisps in the fridge. Tbh I have no idea what the result is, good or bad

Some say they need to be kept refrigerated, I seem to recall.

Changed my mind, on a day like this I want a 9am kick off. Get it done, the wait is killing me.

I thought it went on a bit. They missed a trick and could have lightened the atmosphere by getting Harry to sign a few copies of Spare.

Great article in the Times about Fik as they call him at Milan. About to notch up a 100 games for the rossoneris. Chelsea could do with him at the moment, fools.

I'm on 3 mobile and, just to further clarify what you've said:
It's £2 per day in Europe but £5 per day in other parts of the world. The 24hr period would also be triggered by data usage - not just phone calls or texts.
Once you pay your £2, any phone calls or texts are included in your normal allowance so, if you have unlimited calls (as I do) calls don't cost you anything above the £2 Go Roam fee (subject to the usual non free phone numbers).
If you have limited data (I have 12Gb per month which has always proved to be enough) but think you'll need more (for example, you or someone in your family may want to stream stuff whilst you're away - we used my phone as a hotspot for 2 mobile phones and 2 Ipads whilst we were abroad) you can buy a data passport for £5 a day.
We often go with Eurocamp (even though the kids are grown up, we still go on our own out of school holidays) and these Go Roam costs are usually far less than the campsite charges.
Plusnet, you can take your uk allowance to Europe and they are cheap as chips. They are owned by BT which own EE. Still crap in the stadium though

Not my King, so I didn't vote but I ll more bank holiday please.
Many of my compatriots would do a straight swap for emperor Macron though

Wow, that is a shocking stat if true. That might even kill any future football punditry career. Although maybe not. Used to wind me whenever Jewell appeared on Sky as a pundit despite his shockung reign here.
Christine will get him on loose women, don't worry.

Lost his last 10 games between Everton and Chelsea. Not even Jewell or Davies managed that feat during "that season".
As Rafa would say:
"He is a 10 out of 10 manager. Fact."

6 loss out of 6, what a run he is on. He could be out for a duck.
Can Luton beat our record?
