Hmmm...
So I may get a chance to see it after all, despite being away...
So 13:30 KO, French time...
Comfortably after my son's late morning wedding ceremony "a la Mairie"... KO somewhere between "apéro dînatoire suivi du repas" and "Gateaux et Champagne". (Non! Me neither! 🤷♂️)Just need to come up with a cunning plan drag son away from his new bride to delay the afternoon photo shoot, (which he most definitely isn't keen on being a part of anyway, so he'll thank me for it, you see if he don't!), to make sure we catch the second half! 🤣
... And if we score, the French side of the family* won't know what's hit 'em!
*Ooh... 'ark at me... other than the bride, we ain't even met the rest yet! 🤣
Allez, allez, allez, Derby, Derby...
🐏
Just tell the French side of the family it is something to do with cricket, they won't have a clue, guaranteed. Expect a shrug and something like "c'est des anglais!"
Back on topic...Ducking hate Sky, I love a 3pm kick off time, that's the best thing about League1

Follow New York City around the globe into Europe and what city do you think is on its level?
You'd be correct if you had guessed Rome.
Ah but everyone knows the Romans built straight roads, bloody clever they were. Did I miss something?

Total guess, off to Saudi Arabia for the temperate climate, kind human rights, stop the oil campaign, LGBT+, women rights and translate into english for Stevie G

Wonder if we'll see Frankie boy heading out there ...
They might have heard of the name and that is good enough for that lot. You might be right you know.
Besides that it is not about the money, they are all going there for football reasons and further their careers.

Can't see a Middle Eastern trophy getting any kind of momentum in the next 20 years.
But I could quite easily see UEFA seeing the dollar signs and letting Saudi sides into the Champions League at some point. And it's not like competitions have never let outsiders in before. Look at the NFL, when it was discussed about having a UK-based team involved. Even bloody Eurovision lets the Ozzies in.
We've seen Saudi Arabia buy golf and it sounds like they're well on their way to buying football, tennis and more.
Saudis sides are in the CL already.
Without the Saudis wedge, Newcastle would most likely been relegated instead.

It’s interesting to hear how Gary Cook (remember him) is running the show out there and utilising his contacts book!
How long before Wazza is out there??
Didn't he introduce/advise Chris crypto crook to MM for the protracted sale of our great club?

Progress for a club like Bournemouth should mean survival in the PL. What do the owners expect?

How cynical are you lot? Steven Gerrard is clearly going there because of Etrifaq’s illustrious history, huge and passionate fanbase and to challenge in the Champions League.
And human rights standard bearer... Flogging and decapitation at half time. That's show biz baby, sponsored by Aramco.

Terrible night for football.
Football is done, and has been for a while now, Sky, the CL, agents, greedy owners all played their part. When average performers make more in a year than most people do in a lifetime, that says something. Apart from the fact that Citeh success really p!ss the red half of Manchester off, I am not fussed about them. They play great football, got a great manager, get great results. Compare that to Qatar Saint Germain, guaranteed to win the French league 99%. The rest is a sh!t show the supporters booed Messi on his last home game. The owners of Citeh have spent loads but put a lot of money into an area of Manchester which needed it. Yesterday all club employees went to Istanbul. Compared that to the Glazers who just piled debt on the club and sucked as much as they could out of the club, and want an extra billion cos 5 ain't enough, the greedy basterwards. Citeh aren't that bad me thinks.

He must the only player in history to have won more trophies than games he's actually played for a club. Some achievement

I reckon if he stayed à little longer at Everton then straight to Chelsea, he could have relegated both clubs. Now that is impressive.
