    Updated to include recent fixtures
We've conceded just 22 goals in 31 games and scored 55

That is a great point and something the more tedious Warne critics often seem to forget: there is another team playing too!
I suppose if you go into the season thinking "we are the famous Derby County, we'll just brush these insignificant little minnows away" then you are probably going to disappointed when you don't win every game 6-0 looking like Brazil in the 70s.
At the same time though, teams have often come to Pride Park and looked to keep it very tight. They did the same once we became good under Steve Mac 1, which is why we never looked quite as amazing under him as when he first joined. As teams set up to frustrate us, our passing style suffered and we really could have done with options to get it wide and crossed into the box in the air.
We became a better team this season away from home, where our style was more suited to teams coming onto us more. We've rarely ever/never been so good away from home, but less people see these games live. We've struggled a bit more away recently, as even the home teams have set up to frustrate us too. The Stevenage nadir was probably because it was Stevenage, maybe the worst team for us to play away to for the way we setup.
Even on Saturday, we raced into a 2 goal lead, never looked in any trouble at all, yet people are genuinely concerned we didn't score from open play! Should we have thrown men recklessly forward, risking a counter attack, but hoping one of those extra players could have converted at least on of the many crosses flashed across the goal? I guess Saturday doesn't really count though, as it was "only" Leighton Orient, "the sort of team we should be beating". Even though they have taken points off our promotion rivals when we've beaten them twice.
As other posters have said, it's a shame that some posters seem to have taken so little joy from what could be our first promotion in nearly 20 years. I don't know where this purity in football took hold. After what we've been thru, you'd think people would be even more thankful for potential success.
I don't remember any of it when we went up with Billy. It's like West Ham fans who want Moyes gone...these are glory years for West Ham. They won a European Trophy last year and have barely got close to winning anything in decades.
Anyway, big thanks to Warne and his team for getting us this close.

Of course the squad needs an overhaul, my concern is where the money is coming from.  DC is running a tight ship - and I approve of that, given the past few years, but if you recall the lean GSE years even they were pumping money into the club and getting nowhere.
You could argue that (assuming we finish the job next weekend) we've gone up too quickly - the squad needs a fair amount of surgery next season to compete and we're still a fair way from any youngsters coming through.  I don't envisage many signings as such, more freebies and loans again.
We we're warned at the fans forum a while back that if we do up we're looking at a couple of seasons of stability before we hopefully push on - to me that means avoid relegation/push for mid-table. Given that we've been in and around the top 6/top 2 for months and some people have still wanted to get rid of PW, unless we've got some 'god tier' scouting lined up next season is gonna be a tough and PW will come under pressure again from the usual suspects.
Personally, unless we get some outside investment I'm okay with slow and financially prudent progression.

I’d argue his Rotherham spells indicate very much that he can get more out of players as his promotion seasons from league one all coincided with “bigger, better resourced” clubs (the likes of Bolton, Portsmouth, Blackburn, Sunderland) being in the league and yet he got plucky ol’ Rotherham up into the championship at their expense.
It’s also clear that he’s not then done the business when he gets to the championship, that could be down to his ability as a manager/coach, it could be down to resource.
We will recruit in the summer, there are a number of players out of contract and loan players who will return to parent clubs. For every “duff signing” some folk will be at pains to point out, he’s also shown he can pick a player with the likes of Adams, Nyambe, Nelson, Ward and Wilson all looking like good additions.
He’s earned a crack at the championship with Derby, provided we get there, but as I’ve said many times before…if we’re struggling when we’re in that league and fans turn then he’ll likely be shown the door, so these statements about being bottom 3 or bottom 6 and going down with him as he’s not a top coach almost feel like hollow hyperbole to me.
He’s the manager for now, he’s probably won promotion, he’ll probably get a crack and if it’s not working he’ll be replaced and maybe they’ll do better.
How did Watford and Hull get on in the end?

They are chanting warnes name AFTER games now , that’s not in game chants to raise the team , it’s praise for the job he is doing and well deserved it is too , he’s also not jumping in on the bounce to steal the players / fans joy , he is maintaining that line as the boss with a job to do , some on here may not like it but the majority of fans at games are giving Warne the respect and praise he deserves for what he is creating at derby ,
there’s an honesty and culture at the club now that’s been missing for a long time and I for one want to see where he can take it given time and a bit more to spend

You could probably get an oldish 2nd hand smartphone, although good point about size. The older ones are probably smaller.
You could just use it for mp3s, no need for a sim card. Maybe 100 quid, but don't know if mp3s are more than that.
Audible is good value on long books. The History of the 2nd World War was a good 37 hours!

I do have an old mobile, all I use it for is for 2 factor authentication purposes for websites on my PC.  It never leaves my desk, its quite bulky and tbh I'm not sure it has bluetooth connectivity.
My missus is always on at me to upgrade it and tbh I don't usually mind spending money, especially on tech but I also like to get my monies worth out of what I buy and it would just be an expensive paperweight. Modern phones also have a tendency to be the size of a small tablet, ideally I'd like a small MP3 player I could use with wireless earbuds - and if I do drop it in the sea or woods or wherever won't have to sell a kidney to replace it!
I do have a Spotify account and enjoy various podcasts and have had an Audible subscription for around a year now - I've recently bought the Lord of the Rings trilogy approx 20-25hrs each.  I'm creating a backlog trying to listen to them all at home, taking an MP3 player out whilst I walk my dogs would solve that!

Even though Musk didn't buy Twitter to turn a profit, it's extraordinary real-time massive data, feeding into Grok, will likely end up turning it into the most valuable AI company there is. No one else has anything remotely comparable. All the other large language models have cutoffs when their training data ends.

Musk has a proven track record of success which you cannot deny.
People ridiculed Tesla and Space X years ago saying it would not work.
When he takes SpaceX/Starlink public in five years time I expect X will be part of the deal.
