Yeah knowing other clubs want us dead and don't give even the slightest thought about the area or the fans is quite horrendous. I wouldn't wish the death of any club. I have no problem with them wishing us relegated or to do badly, or hating Mel or the people who ran the club. But to hate us to the point we don't exist is horrible

don't be surprised if CK is agreeing a deal right now to finance the deal today, then when his money clears, instantly pay it back. In black and white 'terms' the money hasn't yet come through, but in actual terms, he's done what he said he'd do, but it's just not happened quickly enough for us. However, he's way ahead of any other potential bidder.
Ashley will not be given exclusivity unless his bid increases. Nobody can ask for exclusivity to prevent the admins getting a better deal elsewhere, especially if you've already demonstrated a lack of willingness to spend.

Other than a lack of communication this week can someone explain what CK has actually done wrong for so many to turn against him as owner now?
If, like Nixon and now both Sky & the Mirror are reporting, that he has sent the money but it is being held up by AML checks, what more could/can he actually do? It sounds like he tried alternate ways to send the money around the 31st deadline which werent successful so he went back to the original way of sending it last Mon 6th.
Even if he did come out & say something, would the now sceptics have believed it anyway?
Seems to me like other parties are trying to dirty the waters with CK bid and it is working. Ashley is nowhere near being the saviour if like Q statement says his bid was too low to satisfy the EFL. If someone matches or betters CK bid then lets crack on, but so far its been all talk no action from these other interested parties. They all know what the cost is, it cant be any lower, so if you're serious, put up or shut up.

It's very clear that more than one party are manipulating the media to further their cause. Even though it creates extra stress for fans.

A ten second Google search would have eased your fears.
Series C funding rounds aren't undertaken by dodgy company's,  and certainly wouldn't be available to a football club in our position.

I suspect you probably know this though, and are merely seeking to push your agenda.

This delay will likely cost us Rooney, Rosenior, a load of contract renewals and a load of transfer targets. We've gone from having a plan and a way forward to complete chaos with hardly any time to completely rebuild a squad ravaged by administration. Absolutely no chance we challenge next season. Back to the treading water (at best) and uncertainty we've had for the last two years.
Everyone involved in this administration process, be it Quantuma, the EFL, Gibson, Morris, Kirchner etc has been utterly incompetent and the staff, players and fans are being treated with utter contempt by anyone in a position to do anything about it.

What he does is on his conscience not mine, but if he eventually sold our club to them i would be finished football and ive loved the rams since th 60,s so that would be hard to do, but football is not as enjoyable now. Too much playacting, rolling about in agony when nothing wrong with them. Dosnt bother me not being in the prem as long as we watch  the team and coaching staff and fans all together like last season, and i cant see that with MA, but thats only my opinion and i realise that which you dont seem to do.

Between Nixon, Dawes and Percy I think it’s relatively straightforward to navigate what’s currently happening.
Exclusivity should have ended yesterday, with Ashley and Appleby being interested in refreshing bids. Admins have extended the exclusivity to process the funds but are open to that ending of the money isn’t forthcoming soon.
Personally, and maybe less straightforward.  I think Nixon is annoyed he’s lost the narrative. He held back the info about exclusivity ending which allowed Dawes in on what was a pretty big development. Ed took it and ran with it, releasing info that Kirchner’s side probably didn’t want to be released publicly.  Nixon has then spent the best part of the last couple of days trying to claw it back, to the point he went on talksport at 6.30 this morning letting more info out then he would usually write in the paper.
Everyone’s narrative is somewhat correct, but I do think Nixon held back an important bit of info Derby fans needed to know and has been caught out because of it

Ashley the saviour could have bought us in December and given Wayne Rooney and the team a chance at avoiding relegation! So could CK to be fair, but at least CK came back with acceptable bid(s).
My belief, maybe wrongly, is that Ashley's bid is so derisory, it wasn't worthy of a response or discussion.
You know, like when you put something on eBay expecting to sell for hundreds, and someone within 10mins offers you £10 via a private message, but you have to deliver it!

You couldn't give a flying fish about how it's run because we're talking about Newcastle. You'd soon change your tuna if PPS was left in a state of disrepair and all the top of the range training facilities we're used to having were reduced to bare bones equipment, with players choosing to sign elsewhere because the facilities aren't up to scratch.
It's very dangerous comparing Derby to Newcastle, and making an assumption that he sees us on the same level as them. You keep forgetting that to get promoted twice you have to get relegated twice. Newcastle are 'naturally' (as in over the past 25-30 years) a mid to lower table Premier League club, that is their plaice in things in the modern game. In recent history Derby County are a mid to upper Championship club. Ashley may not need us to be in the Premier League  to turn a profit in a  few years if he makes enough cuts elsewhere. Mid table Championship could be the best we can hope for.
Again, we're not discussing other parties and their finances, they have no relevance to the matter at hand.

There's posters on here saying MLC can takes weeks, That's weeks and yes May 17th was weeks ago, I'm not falling for "this deal is collapsing" until Q come out and say so.
Pretty sure CK has said money on it's way...but could be wrong, Nixon saying same thing...but he could be wrong, So until an official statement that says deal is off...all is on track.

£20m is not an unrealistic amount for the ground.
The amount for the creditors is already defined if we want to avoid a points deduction.
Ashley just wants us on the cheap.

Well one generates clicks and one doesn't. We arnt a global brand like these other clubs. We get treated like we don't matter because our name doesnt generate money for the media. It why it's generally Wayne's name that gets mentioned first by the media.
No it isnt fair but media is a business

I just don't believe Kirchner is a chancer. Why waste as much time, energy and money as he has to get this far, only to go "nah, don't have the money actually"?
It doesn't make any sense. They've all had the same scenario, get to the end and the money "doesn't arrive". Kirchner especially has already lost millions on the deal if he walks away, it just doesn't make sense that actually he's just a penniless clown and a timewaster.
    Who benefits?

The only way for clubs outside the prem to make proper money on losing academy assets is a 50% standard rate for any loan fees up to 23 years old. This should probably apply to those youngsters sold up to 21 really. Should be put in the regs.  Could be worth 3-4 million on 3-4 loans over 3 years, maybe more.  Drives me nuts that a couple of loans and they get there pittance back plus cash on top.

Of course we are, this agreement clearly demonstrates that all parties want to get this deal over line. The ground was always going to be an issue simply because it’s outside of the clubs control and is not part of the package on offer by the administrators. The more parties involved in a deal the greater the complexity.
Hopefully we are now close to being able to get back to talking about football and forgetting all about leases, amortisation, transfer bans, points deductions etc. I, for one, am just looking forward to focusing on the “on the pitch” activities ????

    https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/derby-county-chris-kirchner-abuse-7089417
The social media abuse mentioned is uncalled for.
I get that fans are anxious, but the club didn't enter administration for the sake of it, its 60 plus million in debt.
There are few interested in taking over the club, and of those that are, ck might very well be our last hope.
Why do people assume, the rumour about MA being interested in taking over the club has truth behind it. For all we know it's click bate, for a name that could potentially take over derby.
If MA was interested, why wasn't his name just as heavily linked to other clubs being taken over, clubs with less debt.
Never before has a club with 60 million plus debt, been placed into administration, a club that has a former owner that crazily doesn't want to sell a stadium he owns unless he gets compensated by more than 20 million on top of the debt he owns.
A former owner who only paid off boro, in order to help to try and get himself compensated faster, by attempting to expedite the purchase of the club.
If its not ck then who?
If MA really wanted Derby, why hasn't he come out in the press and said he's determined to take over the club and is out bidding ck in order to do so.
Ck says that a deal is a close, a lot of work is bring done behind the scenes thar he can't legally discuss until if at all, until after he's signed the contract.
Non disclosure agreements in business deals are common practice.
With the amount of debt in question, it takes time to buy something the size of Derby.
I hope that the social media abuse on ck is coming from Nottingham forest fans and not derby fans. However, it's irrelevant, ck needs derby fans support and not abuse or else we will not have a club to support.
