I love you,  all Derby fans. I love the community we have here; I love the knowledge we share, the diverse viewpoints. I grew up in the 1970s and all we had was the newspapers. I love the experience we all have. I stood at Wigan yesterday with my 2 sons and shivered with pride at “We’re on our way..”….belted out …4,000 simultaneous voices. Thatcher tried to destroy the collective voice, society, but football is where it still exists. I may have the drink taken but feel I needed to express the sense of pride I experience whenever we travel & represent Derby. It’s special. Keep it up. 

I don't go to many SCGs as not really my role, but I do value them and certainly the contribution you make, @therams69. Your presence at games and willingness to chat to other fans about issues that you then take into meetings is really valued.
I agree an SCG meeting before the first match with rails would have been helpful, along with a fairly quick follow up review to see how it's going and take feedback. Don't think the latter necessarily needs full SCG but a smaller group of those directly affected.
Two things, I think the Club took an unexpected free couple of weeks due to our FA Cup exit to move the work forward, so there was less time to set this up.
The other is that I still think there is currently a lack of both numbers and experience in the staff team overall to think fan engagement as a given. 
I think that the intention at the top is there, but it doesn't always happen.
A general point it might be worth making at the next SCG! 
 
And just to add, I wish DCFCfans would consider rejoining now we have a new owner. I'm sure it would be welcomed.

A local lad and massive Rams fan Tommy Hunter was the tragic victim of a hit and run last weekend. He leaves behind a partner and 4 year old son.
There's going to be a minutes applause for him on the 27th minute today. The company he worked for Van Elle are running a just giving page and will match the donations to help out his partner and son at this awful time.

I spent yesterday afternoon & evening rehearsing and playing in a very stirring performance of Mozart's Requiem.

Hello everyone, I’m Claire, Daniel’s (B4) sister. I am overwhelmed by your kind words, support, and the memories you have shared.  Thank you so much for the kindness and love you have all shown to Daniel over the years. My parents are working their way through all of the posts and will offer their own thanks in due course.
I wish I knew about the scraves, flanges and ballions before now. I wouldn’t have let Daniel live that down at home. This made my husband and I laugh this morning.
I will be wearing Daniel’s shirt and keeping his seat warm at the Bristol match. Really looking forward to hearing a big cheer and round of applause in the 38th minute, a goal at the time would be perfect!  Do please continue to share the picture with details of the applause. Let’s raise the roof for Daniel!!!

Remember being there when we won on a Tuesday night under Burley ,Smith and Idiakez , 2005 ? we played some great football that season ,  despite the club being  mayhem behind the scenes and badly run as per usual , did we beat the heroin people 3-0 that year ? Rasiak was the Daddy with his looping [mullet] headers

Crewe Alex is the closest club to where I grew up and I had a spell in there academy as a youf. Used to be a really good set up for a small club but then mired in controversy.
Hopefully it's a full ground and a good atmosphere, will prove a tough place to go though I'd wager.

This wouldve been my ideal tie, dad is from sheerness, grew up on the island before moving to Derby for work in his early 20's, and my uncles have season tickets at Holm Park.. biggest game in their history tomorrow the Billericay replay. if either of our games are picked for TV, would look to head to both matches if not scheduled on the same day.

This will be a tougher proposition than Notts County, Crewe now unbeaten in 14 home matches having won the last four including v Tranmere on Saturday. We have to beat them for the sake of us Crewe based rams and the abuse we will receive if we don't!

Sadly it was a time when I went to games less. It's a harrowing period I refer to as the 'married years'.
