This is such a tired argument and one that's full of pure copium.
For starters, if we weren't in for him, why? He plays a position of need for us, is familiar with the league, and fits every bit of criteria Warne has previously said (second loan, good age, productive, etc.) Absolute no brainer.
Secondly, what sort of evidence are you looking for? Direct from Warne, DET? Unlikely that either of those would 'break' a rumour. Some journalists but not others? This guy has got stuff right throughout the summer, but isn't necessarily one that covers Derby - therefore should we discredit him? 
I genuinely think that some fans believe the only players we were in for are the ones we've actually signed...

Jeez, I hope you post is in jest. If I was Burton's manager I would read that out to his players before the game. That would really motivate them. Fortunately, I doubt any professionals in the game would read a fans forum.

Bird and Collins weren't great, but really? Wildsmith and Bradley lost us the game. Not doing anything else wrong isn't really a mitigating factor when the mistake you have made is a rookie error gifting the opponent a goal. 

It's only one game but pretty much the same as last season, play well, don't take chances, lose to a mistake or two.

Came in with good reason. Designed to discourage players from going down injured when they're not. Also agree with the part of that same rule that says you don't have to leave the field following treatment if the offending player received a card for the foul or you are the keeper.

May have already been said, sorry if so, but this is not a fair comparison because elite footballers of the type going to Saudi Arabia are already set for life, free from toil if they choose. Most of us are not. 
Also, there is always more than one motivation for anything we choose to do.

We are absolutely not all hardwired to get as much money as we can.
Anyone tempted by the Saudi money will have to balance the money with the consequences of living there, be it on their lifestyles, their family's happiness, their moral compass, the nature of the regime etc etc etc.
If the money comes out on top, so be it but it won't be because they are 'hardwired' to grab as much as possible.
