So much of this is factually incorrect it's hard to know where to start but here goes anyway:-
    (1) The EFL don't sign off accounts - the club's auditors do. The independent panel found that Derby did not make their anomolous amortisation policy sufficiently clear at the time. That's why we were ultimately hit with a retrospective points deduction further down the line.
    (2) We breached FFP in 3 of 4 consecutive periods. The sanction for this, according to EFL rules (that we signed up to!), is a points deduction. By the letter of the law the EFL could have legimately deducted between 14 and 17 points so we actually got off lightly with 9.
    (3) There's no vendetta. Other clubs have also been hit with points deductions for breaching EFL rules e.g. Sheffield Wednesday, Wigan, Birmingham and Reading (and they also sing 'Duck the EFL'). Again, we signed up to these rules just like these other clubs did and they all knew the consequences of breaching them just like we did.
    (4) The EFL were not in a position to do anything about the Boro (or Wycombe claim) - it was between the two clubs. It's unrealisic to except the EFL to take sides in a dispute between two member clubs. You're basically saying they should have taken Derby's side. The framework for football governance needs to be changed to prevent claims like Boro's being made going forward but that is not supported by the rules as they stand.
In summary, blaming the EFL is like blaming the breathlyser when you get done for drunk driving. It quite simply represents a complete failure to take responsibility for the club's own actions.
We may well be on the verge of liquidation. If this happens, this is down to our lifelong fan owner and no-one else.
Hopefully though, we are on the verge of a new era with Kirchner. He's on record as saying he wants a constructive relationship with the EFL. It's time to draw a line under this and stop blaming the EFL for Mel Morris's misdemeanours.
Let's not be that club any more. We're better than that. I sincerely hope...

And the people who are doing it aren't the sharpest tools in the box - How do you persuade someone who you entirely depend on but have no real leverage with to 'do the right thing'? That's right, abuse them, send them death threats, propose chants against them, suggest we meet outside their house etc.... It's puerile and entirely counter productive.

I’m looking forward to the day Derby fans stop posting foul mouth rants against Mel Morris on Twitter and sitting back soaking up the likes. We all know what he’s done and how we feel about it, but I’m bored as hell of those tweets.

Once this has all been sorted out (and it will be sorted out), then what will continuing to sing about him achieve? I don't think it will 'tarnish his name' , not least because his name is pretty tarnished already amongst people who will care. Outside the football world, nobody will either know about or care about a few chants.  It will be best to move on, forget this sorry little period and look to a hopefully brighter future.

One thing we can agree on… duck Mel Morris. We need to sing it at every match home and away.
he only bought us for his ego, he doesn’t care about any of us or the team, he bought us as a toy.
the only thing we can do to hurt him like he’s hurt us is to tarnish his name.
every single game from Now on ‘duck Mel Morris’ needs to be sang. What a cretin he is! That’s being nice, if I said what i truly felt about the ‘man’ I’d be banned.

I agree with you. Mel has made some pretty awful decisions but I do believe his intentions were to get the club promoted.
So, albeit his actions have led to the club now being on the brink of ceasing to exist, in any crime, you do have to look at the motive.
I don't think enough of us are doing that.
Similarly, most of us agree with Mel's stance against the EFL and parachute payments.
You're also right that he did resolve the issue with Gibson. Albeit late in the day.
I do hope that, regardless of his feelings towards Rooney - or even Kirchner - he looks at the bigger picture and removes the final obstacle that's preventing survival of Derby County.
I do find CK impressive. I feel his approach is refreshing. It would be great to see how things would work out next season under CK and Rooney, so I am desperate for his bid to succeed. Well, of course, we're all desperate for a bid, any bid, to succeed so the club survives.
But I mean I think CK would be good for us.
I do hope Mel paves the way.
And that, if he does, then the hatred recedes. We need to move on.

Wilshere had an opportunity to join the club but instead chose to sit on his arse waiting for a better offer that never came. The current squad, limited as it may be, is a collective of lads who would run through walls for the club. Wilshere clearly doesn't fit the mould.

He did. He used a method of player amortisation which was not in accordance with EFL rules. If he wasn’t aware of EFL rules then he should have been. If he was  aware then the only reason for using an alternative method was to achieve an unfair financial advantage.

There are many things you can rightly blame the EFL for but passing Mel in 2015 or whenever it was done, is not one of them.
A multi millionaire businessman, with a long history of supporting his local club, zero criminal record, takes a substantial financial  interest in the club in 2014 and a year later buys the remaining shares, and you want the EFL to stop him from doing so? Imagine the outcry. If that was the bar there'd be no owners of any club.

I don't have a problem with the letter. It's to the point and simply addresses the one remaining elephant in the room: The stadium.
I also don't see the point of raking over old ground with some of the questions you list. While I fully appreciate that you/we would like answers to many of these, what we need is a favour from the man. Risking antagonising him with historical and loaded/accusatory questions, rather than focussing on what needs to be done for the club to move forward, would be a mistake IMO.
We just need him do do what needs to be done and we move on, leaving him behind for good.

Disappointed to finally have relegation confirmed tonight but it was always the most likely outcome.
Looking ahead to L1, assuming the takeover happens, I'd love us to avoid being that club who thinks we will walk the league and beat all comers.
We are set for the biggest squad overhaul we've ever seen which will be HUGELY unpredictable. We will have a target on our backs all season long, and there are some big clubs here who have more experience of the slog than we do.
I'm hoping that in August I am confident and think we can compete for promotion, but let's just temper expectations for now and keep the "everything is a bonus" approach, its contributed to the best season ever for atmosphere.

Well quite.. We have several times seen statements from the EFL about wanting to preserve the long term future of the club while at the same time threatening to apply sanctions that fundamentally undermine the value of the club to any potential saviour.
I genuinely believe that the EFL don't wish us to cease to exist but I just don't think that our situation was what they had in mind when these rules were written up. We have no stadium and an utterly threadbare squad on short contracts due to a seemingly endless embargo and then administration on top. There is just very little residual value, that's the fact of it.
They can brandish their rulebook and stamp their feet all they like and demand that certain creditors are paid but if a series of incoming owners say that the club is worth nowhere near enough to do that then they can just apply their rules and be damned and send us under or they can look at the discretionary element and say OK, well lets be pragmatic here and find a way through this and perhaps afterwards we can sit down and review the rules we've made as to whether they work in all situations. This isn't about trying to duck debt to gain unfair advantage, it's about trying to survive. Even if we achieve that, the DCFC entity is in a seriously distressed state in need of an extensive rebuild on and off the pitch. Regardless of what some delusional fans of other teams think, we have absolutely not got away with anything, far from it, we've taken an absolute mauling that could take years to turn around even with new owners prepared to invest. Don't make this any harder than it already is.
