Mowbray at Blackburn  and Wilder at Boro (spit) have also been undefeated in the month, with 4 wins and a draw like Wayne.
Don't care for the award, prefer to be 'under the radar' and gathering points, though that will be more difficult if the good run continues!
There should be a Duffer of the Month as well, easily won by Marco Silva at Fulham for December; no wins and 4 draws, with a squad containing those Prem players and Mitrovic! LOL.
Whatever happens this season, my most ardent wishes are for Boro and Wycombe to fail in any promotion bid. Voodoo dolls fully employed. Their failure is more important to me than even the fate of F*rest & DirtyLeeds for me, apart from (hopefully) 3 teams falling below DCFC in the final table!

Please not Rooney was all I could think as soon as I saw this.
The longer other teams go "Derby, bottom of the league, old men and teenagers, we'll win that easy" the better.

    OMG.
If Rooney gets it, having earned fewer points in the month than Wilder achieved at Boro, does that mean another Gibson law suit?

It could be either. The conversion rate works best looking backwards! Are we good enough to be converting results if we replayed the batches now? And, if so, that means we're good enough to survive.
But it still work looking forwards! I think it was a game that we have been drawing so far this season. And we drew it. And that's okay!
The point is that the way we played is okay, and good enough to be able to win matches.
The danger, I think, would be if we change our style to chase wins, and end up losing matches.

I hope that we play our first team. We nearly always seem to go off the rails when we field a weakened team.
And our first team needs to continue to improve. Rather than resting, they need to practise converting play into goals.

Looks like fun. Thought I'd have a go too :)
If we stay up, a close crop of Kazim-Richards will be an iconic image I reckon (or maybe if we don't too).

    I love a cup run.
It's a day off from league fixtures, you often play opponents you wouldn't normally play.
There's not really that much to lose, so have fun a go at it.

Interesting option. 20,000 fans at £1000 each. Or 2,000 fans at £10,000 each.
Does anyone know what the proposed yearly rental to the club is?

A lot of people saying this game doesn't matter, but if we get through and bag a plum tie in the next round it might help us survive as a club. If we go on a cup run, it might help us survive as a club.
It'll be difficult because Rooney will definitely rest a lot of players and the ones who come in won't have been playing regularly or have played together as a team before. If all these are fit, I reckon Rooney's team will be:
    Roos
    McDonald      Cashin      Stearman      Williams
    Shinnie
    Ebosele     Watson     Sibley
    Baldock    Plange

Away against The Sky Blues at lunch time in the FA Cup 3rd Round.
Can the Rams keep Inverurie Ram going into February 2022?
Will this game be on? Will the preferred bidder be chosen? Was Monday good to us all?
Fortunately, they are a team that we have done better against in the past.
Hopefully the players and fans and everyone at D.C.F.C. will carry on to give their all and a positive result can be achieved.

11pts from every 7, that would put us on 44 overall but I put 11+ as I think we need at least 45pts if we can keep our goal difference decent.
    So 34 points needed from 21 games = 1.62ppg

We need 11+ points from every batch of 7 games, so 11/21 points available.
Requires an average of 1.65 ppg
    Our current ppg is 1.28

Win 2, draw 1, lose 1 is 50% win ratio and 1.75 points a game. So it absolutely isn’t necessary to have a 55% win ratio to get 1.7 points a game.

looking at our recent form in points per game
    Last 10 : 1.5
    Last 8 :  1.75
    Last 6 : 1.67
    Last 4 :  2.5
The trajectory is broadly upward, albeit with no real pressure.
If we go with 1.7points per game, that’s 46 points rounded down from 46.7.
Be interesting to see how it goes for the next 4 games!!!

Up to 20.5 points now, based on -.5 for a defeat, +.5 for a draw and +2.5 for a win this season. That's, in effect 2.5 points from safety but having played a game more.

What I want to see is how quickly (if at all) we can get in to the relegation zone proper - rather than the sin bin we are in now. Once we are within 4-6 points of safety, if we have a handful of games remaining it gets interesting.

We are on a high after 3 wins. It’s so hard to be rational, but If that becomes 6 wins we will be in a “normal” relegation scrap .. buts it’s a big if. Can we do it ? What happens if 2 or 3 key players leave ? Have we got another kick in the guts coming or not ?

Doesn't matter what the ppg requirement is, we just need to beat the teams around us (at least not lose to them) and continue to better their results in every chunk of 5 or 6 games to keep chipping away.
If the 21 point deduction is spread evenly over the season and both ourselves and those we are chasing match the 1st half of the season we require to convert 2 defeats or draws into wins to be out of the bottom 3, I'm sure we can all look at the results so far and see where that's possible, after all, we have the worst record of losing points from winning/drawing positions (-17), and several of those were very early season, Jagielka not playing/match fit, no Knight, no CKR, restrictions on who we could use etc etc. Bielik to come back.
We are in a much better position on the pitch than we were for the 1st quarter of the season so it is perfectly possible to get the extra points.

We just need to keep chipping away..in reality the current target is tracking at 46 points...if you spread the deduction out across the season we are at 20 points..so right in the mix..
