Yes minus 4 for the first offence was what MM said, assuming straight line amortisation. As you say, he also alluded to subsequent breaches

-15 is probably more than we deserve but it may be what we have to suffer to meet the admins timetable. It’s important for the EFL that it’s 12 (admin) plus 3 (FFP) because they want to show other clubs admin is not a soft option

    i think we’ll stay up if it’s -15

Well we need to start winning games, scoring more than one goal and stop conceding soft goals. It’s not the point deductions impacting my confidence right now of staying up its the results. I can’t actually wait till we finally have a transfer window (no matter what league) where Wayne can actually freely build a squad to his liking.

Is there a reason for the British Rail logo? That's the one that's throwing me.

Maybe it was someone who works in the rail industry. And even during the moments they have to spout their ideology, they cannot help but plug the great rail industry they love so much.

So if we accept the need for a complete reset, shall we just wave the white flag with the EFL, get all the shizzle, embargoes etc out of the way and try to move on?

That’s what I was saying today to a mate at work who supports forest. Let’s just take all the punishment and go down with -400 points and start again next year clean slate (ish).

  4. At 1-0 up, we should be kicking on, tails up etc and then we go and concede two of the most pathetic goals I’ve ever seen, even for Derby. This season is now looking like a complete write off, can’t even see us getting over the 20 point mark at this rate.

These players had shown fight and bottle all season until last couple of games and tonight they just looked like they’ve given up. And if they hadn’t, they might as well do after that.

Hopefully we still get a game today.

I've been up for 3 hours and the rain has been pretty biblical since I woke up.

No signs of it stopping anytime soon either.

If it carries on for another 2-3 hours then I can see it getting called off today tbh

Will be fine I should think! Think the worst of it’s passed now. Supposed to be dry the next few hours.

Just realised... There ain't not no hint nor mention of my gold member.

I didn't get to being a 10+year full fan by having no mention of my gold member!

Anyone know where I can get a gold marker pen?  I'll colour the bloody thing in mesen!  ?

    ???

2020 season was my 17th season ticket and I didn’t get the gold one (I assume cause I had a two year break while at uni so I was only a half fan) I was FURIOUS. I can only hope the new board puts getting me an actual season ticket made from gold in their business continuity plan otherwise I can’t foresee them passing the EFL (and GODS) fit and proper person test.

Personally I feel it is time that the administrators made another statement to the real money, the fan base. They might have their hands full with potential buyers, EFL, tax man but don't forget the fanbase. Might have to be limited what they can say but with all the speculation kicking about from the likes of Nixon we need something from them

Tbf to them they’ve been much better at communication. They literally released a statement last week about prospective buyers and commented specifically on Mike Ashley not being in dialogue with them.

"Time is running out before various nightmare scenarios come into play - including player sales in January, pay deferrals and more redundancies. "

"But for now, Derby are just hoping there is still a club to save".

    Hardly encouraging from Percy.

Seems a bit like scaremongering and stating the obvious - ‘’if I stop eating and drinking water, I’ll probably have loads of issues and DIE’ sort of stuff.

Surely the fact numerous parties have shown proof of funds and signed NDAs within a month of us going into admin is as fast as that process could of taken anyway. So to me sounds like things are progressing as quick as they could be in terms of securing the sale and I think that’s positive - of course a long way to go but there seems enough reputable interested parties for one to get over the line.

Quoting my own words here .

    Think about this !! ??

Why would you sack 20 people saving on wages then spend 300k on the possible outcome of a negative appeal on the -12 .

    You wouldnt would you .

There is alot going off behind closed doors . Believe me we will win the appeal and it will be either 0 points deducted or -6 . But its going to come at a cost of accepting the 2nd one so we cant appeal it . There is a possibility we could just end up with -9  or get 2 x -6  . Somethings cooking behind the scenes as you dont spend 300k without knowing the result having sacked around 20 jobs . If you dont believe this then your probably in the same group as who believe Diana Spencer was accidently killed in that car crash .........wakey wakey people .

Wait what if I believe that - but believe Diana’s crash was an accident? WHERE DO I FIT INTO ALL THIS.

I have a couple of exiled mates who live in Sheffield through work, Derby lads through and through and ST holders so are their kids, Notts will have the same issue as us, DCFC fans who live in the west of that county, Go to Chapel-en-le Frith and Glossop and you're right...Mancs and Scousers but born in Derbyshire...But Wembley in 75 it was full of Derbyshire Folk ?

Since I’ve supported Derby (roughly 22 years) - the club has always been marketed as a football club for Derby in my eyes, not derbyshire. I think the fact the club is based in Derby and Derby is in south derbyshire doesn’t help encourage derbyshire folk north of the county to support the rams. Having said that, once we are out of this mess, maybe a new owner should really be looking at marketing us as Derby ‘county’ to build / maintain support for the club around the county rather than just in the city. Morris talked about this kinda stuff back in 2015 at those fan events, I remember him basically implying if he could get Derby into the prem he felt the club had a real op to build on the fan base around derbyshire, Staffordshire and even into Notts a little - if we could sustain a prem place. I think the only east mids club that has built support since then, and obviously down to success, is Leicester.

Are you aware that Chad, Littleover, & Alvaston are included in the Derby city  population figures? They’re all within the city boundary…..

Yeah his examples should of been more like Ilkeston, borrowash, Hilton even maybe Burton - areas where there is still a lot of Derby fans. But like he said none of those areas are as big as Gateshead etc.

Completely at a loss as to why we didn't apply for the Covid loan? Mel must be in a world of his own! Beats me that he allowed Hartlepool to keep all the money from our cup match the other year. Looking at it they were better off at the time than us!

Essentially sounds like he wasn’t able to guarantee he could repay the loan, so we couldn’t apply for it.

Thought Fozzy was immense again. Apart from one moment of brain freeze where he turned back towards our goal and tried to pass back to Allsop. I didn't think he put a foot wrong after replacing the injured Stearman in the centre of the defence.

Lol he launched that at him. Swear he was so bored of Swansea doing nothing he just had a go.

  14. Would love if we could get this to 24 to 25k. I’m not sure what it is because online (which I know is only a portion of fans) there seems to be so many saying they are returning for the first time in ages and I know like 4 people going tomorrow who haven’t been for ages or never go, so you’d think that might be a general feeling. Yet there doesn’t seem to be any real higher uptake from before admin - maybe it’s just not representative of actual opinion or maybe people are just finding it too difficult to buy tickets?
