Haven't the US got some very strict laws when it comes to granting entry to people with criminal records?
Now I know it's in his past, and I know some of the charges have been dropped, but I'm sure he still got convicted/found guilty of something early on in his career.

Are you both forgetting we're now a League 1 club? A league 1 club which has only an 18 year old keeper who has never played at U23 level and a 17 year old who has made 5 apps for the U23s.

It’s the Derby way

Fantastic news. This is a fresh start and we have to embrace it.
Rooney managing us in League 1 would have been a burden we could do without.
Now we can get back to just being Derby and rebuilding the club with someone at the helm with fresh eyes who is detached from the goings on of the last 18-24 months.

If Wayne Rooney didn't fancy starting another season with no money, no players, no owner, who can blame him? I admire absolutely everything he has done for our club and we'll be a poorer place without his presence.  Hope he acheives great things wherever he goes next.
