Call me an old romantic but sign him up! That game against Wednesday he was immense and his reaction towards the end of the game and afterwards was superb.

Exactly the kind of character our club deserves. We could do a hell of a lot worse than Waghorn as a back up striker.

For me this still rankles more than any other element of the troubles endured by the club. The systematic dismantling of the academy and watching the Premier League clubs hoover up anyone they identify as having above average ability, often for absolute peanuts, only to claim that they are doing us a favour. They can all get in the f****** bin.
The worst thing is that most often, these kids are just dumped in 'cold-storage', or loaned out to smaller clubs for stupid fees. For all the dozens that the likes of Chelsea snare every year, very few ever get to play for the buying club. To me this encapsulates a deal of what is now rotten in our once beautiful game and this oversight committee, or whatever they are calling themselves, need to have this colossal imbalance high on their 'needs fixing' list. I won't be holding my breath.

Sorry, but I have to disagree. We've sold Bielik after making zero appearances last season, so although he is a quality player the squad hasn't gone backwards from last season.
We've sold Knight, who is obviously a very good player played all of the minutes he could have done. However he played those minutes either at right back where we have brought in two specialised wing backs, or at centre mid where Smith is now available in his preferred position.
I don't think that the squad has gone backwards for those two sales.
We released several aging centre backs, and replaced them with younger better suited players for the preferred style of play.
McGoldrick decided to move on. He will obviously be difficult to replace, however he limited a little our style of play due to us being forced to play to his. We have signed an experienced forward who plays to Warne's preferred style.
Last season we finished 7th on goal difference. We were hardly treading water. It is to be seen if we have recruited as well as it would appear, but I don't think for one second that we have gone backwards.

I'm not sure the rest of his season undermines the comment that he did perform 'heroics' on that day though; without him we'd have been relegated?
Davies put his body on the line and showed great courage but Waggy actually delivered the goods that kept us up. In terms of impact on the game, Waghorn had far, far more influence. Both were heroes on that day, in my eyes.

Any chance of a ceasefire sometime soon?  😲
Laddo's currently in Lublin (Poland) finalising the paperwork/Visas etc, before catching the train into Ukraine on Wednesday, to start his next adventure... making a start on clearing some of the rubble, and sweeping up any booby traps/land mines etc that may or may not be lying around! (Been working for Halo Trust for about 18months or so now).
He's already been to war twice, the second of which was rather unpleasant and took far too many years to calm him down and get him back to what has recently began to appear as "Being in a good place" (mentally), so whilst we're not exactly over the moon that he's once again returning to a war zone (albeit as "a neutral" this time),  we do appreciate he needs some sort of buzz in his life, and in effect, this is just the next phase on his road to a full recovery from the aforementioned mental tortures that have plagued him over the past decade.
    Who'd be a bloody parent, eh?  🙄

To counter argue this STUPID comment, good on him, mental health isn’t a joke and affects anyone, as someone who’s struggled and continues to struggle I wish him all the best.

There’s clearly talent there, we’ve seen it first hand… I hope for him he gets to a point where he can feel happy enough to perform.

Just to counter this, how does the member in question know what Ibe has gone through to be so critical of his career?
Also to be so flippant over Deli Alli suffering from sexual abuse as a child, calling it an "excuse" is disgusting.
@Magicman, I see you are claiming free speech, let me stop you right there, we have terms of use for this forum which you might want to go and read.
You do not have the freedom to be offensive, which some of your comments are borderline, maybe think about how your words may affect others that are reading this forum.

Deli Ali is another over paid talent who wasted it over the last few years because he could. Ibe i have no doubt has excuses too ....

Having access to the best support is one thing, accepting that support is another.
I don't claim to know what Ibe has or is going through, I do however have my own experiences with mental health issues and know just how hard it can be taking that first step in admitting I had a problem, then getting the support.
I wasted 6 years of my life as I thought I was a man, strong enough to pull myself around. I wasn't.
Money can fix so many problems, need a house, buy one, need a new car get one.
Money can not buy mental well-being, so yeah I think you're being a bit harsh here.
It's easy to be flippant and brush it off as wasted talent without knowing the personal circumstances.
On a day that an interview with Deli Alli has been released which revealed he was sexually abused as a child and became addicted to sleeping pills, wanting to retire at 24...I don't know, just thought as a fellow human being we could all be a little more, kind?
Maybe I'm expecting a little too much from anonymous users behind computer screens.

Gary Neville's interview with Dele Alli should remind people to have some sympathy with Ibe and remember that you never truly know what people are going through.
