Ramism got a reaction from r_wilcockson in Sonny Bradley
I was on the front row and the incident was right in front of me. Both players were forehead to forehead then Bradley sort of made a much more forceful movement forward. Definitely a red card however their player should have been booked. He also threw himself to the floor clutching his face and then as soon as red card came out he got up. That’s what I seem to recall of the incident

Ramism reacted to Ambitious in Away tickets 23/24
I've mentioned it before, so not to be a broken record, but these are the teams that really benefit from higher ticket prices - majority of their income is fan generated. In the Premier League they could charge £10 or £100 - it doesn't matter realistically speaking because the TV revenue is their bread and butter.
I know £30 is high, but you aren't going because you're investing in the entertainment - you're going to invest in your club, therefore the league they play in. I would pay the same ticket prices to watch Derby in League Two than I would in the Premier League, for example, because I'm going to watch Derby - regardless of the opposition. I don't go based on division - like the majority of us.

Only bit I’d add is that the clubs can agree a figure between them (I think) before it goes to a panel.

Ramism reacted to Kernow in Is Clowes Blameless?
Critique may be a better term to use than blame. At the end of the day, he’s a fan just like everyone else here, except he’s got a hell of a lot more money. He chose to use some of it to save our club, when nobody else would/could.
As a fan he’s going to have his opinions and decisions, doesn’t mean they’re going to be right. Some of us may have made the same decision, others would’ve done things vastly different. That’s fine, but it’s not our money at stake. That’s why it’s quite easy to say things like “if I was Clowes I’d sack him straight away”, but if it was costing you £1.5mil (rough estimate), then you may not be so quick to pull the trigger.
The bloke is one year in to a role he never really wanted, and never expected to have. I’m not going to start pointing the finger at him. Mel Morris made lots of questionable decisions, but that’s not what got him his current opinion from Derby fans. He got that by mismanaging us and leaving us in possibly the biggest mess he could’ve left us is. As long as Clowes runs Derby sensibly, he may make wrong decisions, but that’s different from taking actions that’ll harm the club.
Clowes is an incredibly experienced businessman, but an incredibly inexperienced football man. He’s a fan like us all, doesn’t mean you have a natural talent to run a club, especially one that means so much to you. Mistakes probably have already happened, and will continue to happen, but it’s a learning experience and I won’t turn on him for that.

Ramism reacted to Ambitious in Derby v Man City U21s Matchday Thread
I did nail this down as perhaps the most depressing game in the club's history, where we are made to play against another side's U21 side in a competitive match. I'm not surprised the interest is at an all-time low.

Ramism got a reaction from Kathcairns in Liam Rosenior
Before the season started I said to my mate that we need to tread water this season. My worry is we are under a strict business plan for this year and next. We won’t compete in the championship under the current restrictions(In my opinion), would they be relaxed a bit if we got promoted this season- who knows. Tough on us fans but we are where we are, the EFL rules mean we wouldn’t be competing on an even footing atm

Had a few quotes and grounds around a hundred miles away are coming in at £1000. That’s for a 50 seat bus.
I’ve been organising/sourcing trips/holidays etc for small groups of people for the last 12years or so, so have a bit of an understanding of what’s involved. The danger with larger groups is everything costs more to pay for, before you get any money in

I’m looking at the feasibility of organising coach travel, from Pride Park, for away games.
It would initially be for the larger away capacity grounds.
Do you guys think it’s not unreasonable to expect one could get between 50 & 100 people who would use it. Costs would be roughly what road rider charged.

Clifton was in the DRI when he injured himself playing American Football. I had had my arm fractured playing football and was having it played. The nurse came in with our dinner and I took the plate of fish n chips Clifton then pipped up and said whose eaten my fish n chips needless to say I didn’t own up ?

Ramism reacted to TooFarInToTurnRed in The Administration Thread
Putting my head above the parapet, I have stayed away from criticising MM for 2 reasons.
Firstly, I am sure there is simply far too much I don’t know about the reasons the club ended up here which will inevitably come out at some point
Secondly and most importantly, I couldn’t in all honesty say that if I was MM I wouldn’t have let my heart rule my head and ended up in exactly the same place. It would be hypocritical to criticise on that basis imo.
