If I was a betting man, I wouldn't put money on either option. Far too early in the season. I will now go against what I've just said. I cannot see Luton or Sheff U surviving. Wolves and Everton are not safe either. We might also see what Kompany is made of with Burnley. Add Bournemouth into the equation with Forest and you might have the bottom seven teams in the Premier League.
As for the Rams, ask me the question again at the end of September or maybe mid October. We might have a better idea by then.

Clark was probably the worst of The Doc's signings (unless someone can come up with another name) and is a leading contender to be in the midfield of my worst ever Derby 11. He was truly abysmal.

I don't believe a midfield three of Bird, Hourihane and Smith works. Not enough energy. Assuming Sibley is not fit enough to start I would bring Thompson into midfield and leave out Bird (there may be an element of fait accompli about this if Bird is injured).

Since we moved to Pride Park, I had always had a season ticket in the East Stand Upper. Then I had an enforced absence that saw me without a season ticket for two years. When I came back to games in February 2022, I moved around the ground.
One thing that had always annoyed me about the East Stand was the lack of atmosphere. I enjoyed going in the South Stand and stayed there for the last several games of the season. It wasn't the price that influenced me, it was the atmosphere. I decided to get a season ticket for the 2022/2023 season and again this season.
I realise the performances on the pitch haven't been great but neither has our performance in the South Stand. There seems to be something lacking this season. A better showing on the pitch would certainly help but the lack of two of our main chants is not helping.
We have scored two goals at home and there has been no bounce. We have stopped singing the 21 points song. Surely with a slight change in wording we can keep this going. Obviously, "straight back up" doesn't work. Perhaps swapping 'strait' for 'soon'?
Coming back on topic, I like the drum. But would I be as keen if it was right next to me. Probably not. Hopefully, some compromise can be found.

One additional point. Some have mentioned the Collymore song. Ever since Collymore spoke out well in support of us when it looked like we would not have a club I've been uncomfortable with joining in with the song. So, I would vote to stop this song (at least the current version - the earlier version about his football skills I can live with but not the current one - it's just a little too personal).

I sort of agree with this but I would ditch Bird. We need some legs in forward midfield and based on our current squad that would be Thompson or Sibley. Smith is not as bad as some people make out and he certainly is a better defender than Bird. Hourihane needs to be in the team as he is the most likely player to create something and he chips in with important goals.

Barring any fitness issues, it will be an unchanged team and formation. No arguments from me for this.

We have absolutely no idea as to whether we were interested in him. Anyway, it looks to me like he prefers to be near home.
I do agree with those that have said he'd have made a good addition to our midfield (on paper at least, as I must admit to not remembering him from last season). 

I'm not too sure Jodrell Bank will be overly keen on your mention of astrology or Carl Sagan come to that. If you talk about astronomy instead, that should keep Jodrell and Carl happy 📡.
