Jimbo Ram got a reaction from Ewetube in The Administration Thread
Maybe they would just claim against another club or two to even it out ?

Not sure how helpful this is right now. Have an inquest when it's all over we need to focus on the here and now and broker a solution.

But apart from the roads, the aqueducts and sanitation, what have the EFL ever done for us?

It's hard to say but I think we'd easily have the biggest attendance figures in the league. Obviously league1 and clean slate is the better option but I would still be cheering on in league 2 . I honestly don't care either way anymore as long as I have a team to support.

No upside of liquidation, hopefully this week will see things sorted…..

Jimbo Ram reacted to angieram in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
I don't mind drunks, so long as they aren't throwing up on me. They tend to run out of steam before half time and sleep through the second half. Means I get a better view!

Tbf isn't everyone overreacting? We have 1 registered bid, hopefully with another 1 or 2 in the next few days. Admin will then determine best in terms ability to pay creditors. Beanies are proposing Mel keeping ground (at the mo) and deal with spurious claims at a later date.
Can't see why everyone so twitchy

Might be close to how it is…Mel drops the stadium price by 10 mill which ends up in the make believe fund….

The idiots singing about Gibson dying were probably the same lot singing about Billy Sharp.
Marching powder I’d assume.

I think I read that they were prepared to address it once they had become owners, ie pay up any amount decided upon by an independent tribunal
-
Jimbo Ram got a reaction from richinspain in The Administration Thread
Agreed. What I thought. Creditors will get paid agreed amount and a contingency pot will be set aside for MWW…

Jimbo Ram reacted to davenportram in The Administration Thread
I think the sticking point for EFL is that Q wanted to compromise the offer by ignoring it. If it will be dealt with in full after arbitration (and after we leave administration) it is no longer avoiding it and increases the pot for current agreed creditors as it won’t be diluted by their claims

Jimbo Ram reacted to Boycie in If liquidated, Derby will no longer be a founder member of the EFL
Yes, obviously getting out the lower leagues isn’t a given, just look at Sunderland, but in my opinion could be an exciting journey.

I wouldn’t be against joining league two if that was the doomsday scenario.
