And to come up from League Two?
It's a sad state of affairs when the second score I look for is Exeters and then Plymouth.

Living  in Cornwall, I'm hoping Exeter  come up and Plymouth stay where they are as both are about an hour for me. If I can get tickets that is, Exeter only holds just over 8k in total.

R@M reacted to Bob The Badger in To those of you under 50, some good news
You’re going to be gutted this morning, and rightly so.
    But it ain’t all bad.
When we dropped out of the old 2nd division into the 3rd in 1984 things were in many ways, worse.
We didn’t (quite) have the financial issues, but we had a horrible team and the entire season was utterly depressing and devoid of hope in a way this season hasn’t been.
My personal highlight of an utterly depressing season was meeting Dave Watson in a Little Chef on the A1 after we spanked Cambridge away 3-0 in the FA Cup. That was pretty much it for ducks sake.
AND we had not just relegation, but the ignominy of losing to Plymouth in the FA Cup quarter-final to contend with after we had dragged them back to the BBG.
We all thought that we’d bounce right back when we did get relegated and the arrival of Arthur Cox just emboldened that belief.
An opening day away loss to Bournemouth, when Bournemouth then were more like the equivalent of Exeter now, didn’t dissuade us.
Of course, we didn’t bounce back and ended up outside the top 6.
But we had some BRILLIANT away days that season, Hull, Lincoln, and the last game of the season at Newport spring to mind.
It was a whole lot more fun than the previous season because we were, for the most part, competing and you could see what Arthur was trying to do.
There’s something fun about going to smaller clubs and taking the place over. Those of you who travel to away games know that the camaraderie is special.
In fact, the adversity that we have faced this season has developed that camaraderie, only it’s done it at home.
I work online and use social media a lot and the admiration for Derby’s support, especially those of you who travel away is a delight to read. I’ve even read genuine Forest and Leeds fans say they’re impressed.
And what’s not to be impressed about?
Forget the trolls who are loving this, the REAL football supporters appreciate and understand what Rooney has dragged the club through and the guy is universally respected, exponentially more so than when he was merely an excellent player.
He’s now an excellent ex-player and an excellent human being. Time will tell if he can become an excellent manager, but the signs are promising.
The second year under Arthur we did come up and that season was even better for road trips..
I’ve seen Derby beat Benfica, Real Madrid, every top English club multiple times and Forest many times. But if I were to list the best 5 games I’ve ever attended, Derby at home to Rotherham in the old 3rd Division on a Friday night would be up there.
That game with that penalty that took us back up to what would now be the Championship was a raucous, intense and then delirious atmosphere ending in an effing celebration comparable with any I have witnessed - although to be fair, my memory is a tad blurry because we did hit the pub hard.
I doubt there was a Liverpool fan that got anything like the joy from beating Man City in the cup semi or will get more if they win the thing, than we Derby fans got from squeaking past Rotherham that night.
The fact is, winning is just fun, no matter what division you are in. And beating adversity is fun too. So much more satisfying and enjoyable than just delivering on what’s expected.
Somebody posted that they hope we're not that team that thinks they will bounce back up.
I don't really care if fans think that. It's totally irrelevant.
What is relevant is what WR thinks and what he allows his staff and players to think.
And I have no doubt whatsoever that he'll not allow that entitled type of mindset to creep in.
The good news is we have renewed hope for a stable club, a very promising manager in place, an Academy that is flourishing even if it is being pillaged and some wins to look forward to.
We are where we are, so we may as well embrace it and have fun. And you will have some fun, I promise.

Actually…it would be common practice to have a minimum acceptable amount due to administrator’s pre negotiations with creditors…they would then inform the potential bidders of current bids in order to drive the price up with a deadline set for last possible bids. Just like EBay….in fact has anyone checked if we are listed?

The administrators job is to get as much money as they can to repay creditors, so it would be in the interests of creditors if they started a bidding war/auction. If Mike Ashley wants the club then tell him how much the others have bid and see if he wants it more.
then go back to the others and tell them what the highest bid is.

Ashley for me…..although right now I’d take anyone at all to save the club.

He either loves football, or thinks he can make some money (through the club or by advertising and tax deductions with SD)
He is from the area, is clearly successful and therefore has the sort of ego who would like to stick fingers up at the Newcastle lot….All in all, I can’t see it being anything other than very successful….comparatively to the last 15 years at least.

7 match ban is a bit different to a 3 year or a risk of a ban for life. I can understand a frustration due to poor performance or no investment with a protest pitch invasion but just to run across the pitch waving your arms because we have scored is a bit how can I put it???

Yep before Arthur I thought the club was done for, nearly out of business down to div 3 and destined to stay there, crowds? What crowds? Then along came the King, Bobby, Phill, Gary, Big Rob, etc fantastic times seeing us rise back. Loving this season though such togetherness such pride COYR

Might be an unpopular suggestion, but how about we give the guy a break? The whole team has battled so hard this season and Tom is arguably having his best season in a Derby shirt. Yes he made a mistake but we all do and it's pretty harsh to come down on him for one indiscretion. Everyone deserves a a break after one mistake!

Personal opinion is fans can swear as much as they like, but physical violence shouldn't be tolerated.
Young bloke in front of us, scrambling over bloke next to him and got through to netting, where he was fighting some young slip of a female steward to crawl across netting to Boro fans. He was severely overweight, netting wouldn't support him and he was eventually hauled back. He did this several times - I would have ejected him from ground pronto but nothing was done.
I am just relieved he wasn't next to me. I don't know how Foreveram put up with him.
I honestly think people like him should be banned from football.
He never watched any of the game, just solely there to try and get at Boro fans.
I personally hope some of them found him after match!

Last paragraph discloses the apparent secret EFL agenda of appeasement - on behalf of MFC - that the EFL has within their ability, actions and inactions (if not power), to cause, finally and fatefully, the expected or assured relegation of DCFC.
I am calling it "Constructive Relegation"; it's an EFL parallel to how employers behave (and eventually get found out of, at Tribunals) when they want to make an unwanted employees' job tenure unpleasant, impossible, frustrating - leading to the person ultimately leaving the job, and then taking it up as a claim and legal grievance.
The EFL needs to deny DCFC' Championship status somehow, to appease the parasites and those who demonise an already-punished club, and who, disgustingly, appear to have a chance of overcoming all penalties.
This is quite evident, when you look at the DCFC / EFL timeline, without being exhaustive...
    * Two years of drawn-out embargoes and the emergence of the EFL dispute with MFC as a motivation to deplete DCFC over and above P&S / FFP penalties.
    * Use of the Chorley FA Cup teenage representatives to invoke 'professional player' status to restrict squad recruitment / retention
    * Failure to apply EFL rules re: 3.5, 4.4, regarding club conduct and discredit / disrepute behaviours, by the parasite clubs
    * Publication of 'alternative' league fixture lists for DCFC & WW to swap League places in different divisions
    * Publishing press releases and statements without reference to DCFC; expressing 'disappointment' about LAP/ IDC judgements
    * Leakage of selective information to gutter press to stoke up the demonisation of DCFC
    * Ambiguity of the status of the parasite claims in terms of creditor preference
    * Blocking PB progress / discouraging bidders due to the above ambiguity
    * Ensuring that admin and legal processes endure throughout the fifth (!) transfer window, in January 2022 in which DCFC has been embargoed.
    * Due to blocking PB progress (and their £5m non-refundable funding deposit) and because of the parasite claim status ambiguity, impelling administrators to undertake desperate player disposals by DCFC, in order to facilitate instant cashflow demands
    * Further weakening of the DCFC team, as a consequence of the above, to hasten poor form and indirectly cause relegation.
The EFL's attitude of deflection, obfuscation, delay and denial makes me very angry and will get called out, if we get relegated or (Heaven forbid) go into liquidation. Constructive relegation is not my paranoia - it is DCFC's ongoing nightmare, a gift from Parry to Gibson.

No doubt he his on about Belik and Laurence, who would have bought Belik in January and shock he his under contract, and we sold enough players to keep Tom, what is he on about.
No doubt he will drool over Leicester forgeting that they have been in administration 3 times, and never paid a penny to creditors, not that i ever thought Derby would be in this state.
